No coding required on your end, if I can help it!

"Level Designer," from my point of view, is pretty simple: Just make levels out of whatever's working in the project files at the time, and playtest levels to make sure they're beatable and fun. We'll do a second pass of everything as we get closer to launch - though be warned that launching will take awhlie.

Requirements: You will need to be able to navigate Godot 4 competently and know how to use a TileMapLayer. And have GitHub Desktop installed, or some other way to push commits and pull stuff from the GitHub Repository.

Current Team
Me and one other chill guy. The good news is that I have Unity/Visual Studio C#, GDScript, Scratch, and a bit of GameMaker in the back of my pocket, in addition to being...frequently, available. I have also been trying to publish a project for 7 years, and still haven't given up!

Generative AI Disclaimer (Programming)
Claude Code is in use, but primarily to speed things up. I know my way around code, can document everything I use, and have only actively had and used Claude Code for 2 weeks (at the time of writing), but biting the bullet and implementing new coding concepts competently instead of relying on my fundamentals is where the Anthropic LLM comes in.

Current Status
Launching the game will take awhile and I'm also basically broke, so revenue is unfortunately not expected.

This project has been in development for 2 months (mostly core systems done in my freetime). You can keep making different level snippets as I do the technical setup to make everything run properly and program new features.

Platforms: The game will be for PC and Mobile (definitely Android, but fingers crossed if Godot and iOS don't get into a bar fight with each other again).

DM me for more details, like the setting of the game, and the exacts on what I do and don't have done.

If this is a paid position, you can post it on GodotHire 😉

I've added Revenue Sharing to the tags - so if the game makes any money (I unfortunately kinda doubt it will tbh), you get a cut of the pocket change we'll earn.

#

View it as a chance of money making, and not a guarantee.

I'm just putting this game out there as a passion project with a hope of turning a little profit, honestly

well, guess that's useless to me then.
