Hello, I’m an artist working on a trading card game, this is a physical game I’m working on that I’d like to digitalize. I’m looking for someone to help me with developing it, although I do know some coding and know how to use Godot I’m still very much a beginner and would like to focus on the art and writing of the game (I will of course still help with developing)

I feel it is fair if this game goes anywhere to share the revenues between the team, this can be more further discussed between us.

A little about the card game: It’s a trading card game about different tribes of cats, you control an army or cats (your deck) and you use food to place the cats on the field, you can use tools and spells to give support to your cats. The main mechanic of the game is stealing food from your opponent, and taking your opponent down by attacking their hit points.

I think you severely overestimate the level at which "most programmers" can draw
Either way if you're not interested maybe consider just not saying anything mean to OP just for the sake of jabbing them

While I can't abide rudeness, the ask to see some art is valid. I ask that you share your portfolio, not just a single example. If you do not have a portfolio, then I suggest creating one. This will increase your chances of attracting interest from a developer.

It also appears that you are a game designer too? Or maybe primarily? Have you designed other games - physical or otherwise? This would be good for prospective teammates to know too.

BTW, the links (webgsite and ko-fi) in your discord profile are invalid.

I think we're getting sidetracked here, OP want to find some Godot programmers for his game. He's under no obligation to show his art skills just to get someone to program with him.

Without it the OP appears to be just another "idea guy".
