I have been making my game for almost one year and I noticed my game is unstable when running in forward+ and when i switched to compatability mode, I am getting more frames and better stability. and the graphics looks about the same apart from minor changes. Help me decide which one looks better. The picture where I am getting higher amount of frames is running in compatability mode.
#Does my game look better in forward+ or in compatability??

after flipping back and forth a couple times, i genuinely think the quality is basically identical, so i think you should run it on compatibility mode since it's giving you better frames
Seconded. After flipping through, there is no change, except the player animation change
Of course it's going to look the same if you're not actually using any of the additional features of the forward+ renderer
yeah but the thing is forward plus is using vulkan that is supposed to work better on modern hardware. My hardware is outdated like 4th gen intel.... So will people on a somewhat good hardware might get better frames in vulkan. plus opengl is old so my game might just stop working in the future
i dont think support for opengl will be dropped from windows or whatever any time soon
anyways ppl with good hardware will be able to run your game regardless of the renderer
I had thought that forward+ / vulkan was just for 3d
