#Prototype showcase - Looking for feedback

as you can see whenever i go near this there is something up on the red door
is that a light or something?
and about the project really love the idea but in this simple scene i am getting only 44 fps why
yeah i had a lot of people comment on this and it's actually the breaker for if the power goes out, it was just meant to be a placeholder for the end product but i should make a footnote about it in the itch page anyways
ok
really? i had no clue, i guess i better brush up on frame optimization
backface culling might be useful
i took a look at the profiler but i wasn't able to replicate your issue, so it's possible that it might be an issue with your system specifically?
here's a quick look at the visual profiler too
i have a question is your game works good on integrated graphics
there are a lot of spikes
hp elitebook 840 g3
It gives a lower fps on this desktop like environment you made by pressing e
yeah comparing the two by the average bench % alone you're getting half of what my cpu is getting
i couldn't really think of how I could optimize it further beyond applying a theme to all my components
use vertex lighting
let me see running it on 640x480
there are a lots of dots when running on a lower resolution
i am even getting same fps
sometimes even lower than the 1080p
have other games tested similarly?
this game gets me 70 fps on 640x480 idk what wizardy they did here
yeah i couldn't really say
looks like a shader problem
there's only one shader though
you should try shader compilation i think
best that i can say
these are my spcs tho
oh man...
hate to break it to you this is totally a hardware issue
https://danka-dobric.itch.io/digging-hours
this game got me 70 fps on 640x480
you tell me i have a hardware problem
sounds like what you said - the game is crazy optimized
like the game diiging hours is playable tbh
i'm running 12gb on my graphics card, had a couple friends test the game out and they didn't see any performance issues
so thats my question is this game runnable on 128mb ram?
with decent fps?
apparently not
from what i gathered your laptop is from around 2016, that's almost 10 years old by now
so?
its running smoothly with diffrent games
do you have an example other than the itch game you showed me
your gpu is running at roughly 2% the capacity of the average benchmark gpu today
but i can the other game getting 70 fps
and i am not trying to compete with modern GPU i am just trying to see whether or not it runs on old hardware
i belive there should be a option to turn off shaders
just albedo and baked lighting gameplay
did you look at the profiler?
i have two device 1 is this laptop another with rtx 3060
the real reason i played your game with my laptop beacuse the scene looks basic and i belived that i can run it
it will run but it won't be buttery smooth, that's just not going to happen on a computer that old
but the other game did 70 fps
i am not that other game
which was made in godot
