@wraith musk
hey, i have a few years of 3D modeling experience.
im confident that i could deliver the parts the that you need.
are we talking about the mesh only or does this include textures? i could include PBR textures and bake most of the detail into the normal if geometry is of concern.
ideally if you could provide an example picture of what you're looking for i could give you a quote.
Hi there, I'm a 2D/3D generalist, with 6 years of 3D modelling experience, an average model similar to the example spinners you have on your showcase would take me around an hour or less depending on if you have prior 2D concept art.
happy to discuss so do feel free to message me if you're interested, I've posted an example hard surface modelling gif of mine and can provide more examples of work.
i'm also willing to create some sample parts before payment, so you can be sure that the quality meets your expectations.
Hey thanks for the replies ; I won't have time to look into that in the coming days but thanks for letting me know you're interested
All materials are procedural with shaders I don't even need UVs
Still working on the game for the nest like uh 10mins if you guys wanna check out what I'm doing
(It's 5am here I work in 4h)
GRIND
hussle
how much roughly would you be willing to pay per complete bay- i mean legally distinct spinner that meets your quality expectations?
by that i mean bottom part metal thingy and top
I wanna make a shit ton and I can do them myself tbh so I need someone who could do them really quick/cheap cause otherwise it won't be worth my time
Maybe like 20$ per piece or something. They're composed of 5 pieces.
sounds reasonable.
so around 100 per spinner, how many spinners do you expect to have?
It's definitely pretty cheap but without UVs or textures I think it can be fine, I'll have to clock myself making a few more and see how fast I can do it before I confrim.
do you have reference images?
not legally
haha
I wouldn't want to release with less than 20 of each part I think otherwise customization is gonna suck
The reference would be the base one I have done now as for how the parts fit together - There is some clipping but I made it so it makes a bit of sense at least.
And then for inspiration www.plasticsdb.com but I don't wanna get too close to any of that
that's a good number, I'd be happy to give a discount if you'd want to do a bulk model request (with a tweaking/editing bias of 2 for each), but either way this is an interesting project, and I wish you luck 👍
thinking of "custom" designs would be a bit much for me.
Yeah luckily they're relatively simple models so so far I just opened blender and fucked around
The top part / blades or whatever is definitely harder
if you're fine with somewhat mixing the designs of the spinners (think palworld "mons") id say i could probably do 5 - 10 by Saturday.
i feel like 100 per spinner is a bit much, i wouldnt mind starting at 250$
i would use the website as reference and try to change, mix and match as much as possible. i could provide a quick sheet of the parts i used as reference so you can decide if its too close to the source material or not.
as i mentioned before i dont mind creating the spinners prior to the payment, but id only provide screenshots before that (duh)
if this sounds fine to you, could you share your spinner model so i can make sure the dimensions are correct and that the parts are interchangeable?
As i said I don't have time to deal with that quite yet but I'll keep it in mind ! Thanks a lot.
@lapis forge is the job still open
