Why is my panel container like really small?

I made a panel container on top of another panel container and it s like so tiny and thin how do i fix it?

Maybe try clicking the "Expand" checkbox under "Container Sizing" group for "Vertical".

but that makes it really big

i want it to still be thin but just like not THIS thin

i want to control the size

Give it a minimum size or put something in it?

changing that doesnt do anything its still the same
