is not to be fucked with too much using additive
keep it low but not absolute zero
then for glow around emmisive objects, increase the emmisive intensity

ive been really fascinated at your grappling hook implementation and been fooling around with some of my own, how did you go about with yours?
raycast that on_pressed returns collision point
did you do it how I did it, just have a raycast that constantly rotates to a grapple point and changes the player y pos based on that

Most of our game ideas do end up being first person, and since project S already is decently done with gameplay and is first person, it makes sense to use that to test

So after playing it for two games a little bit of thoughts~
First, genuinely an excellent gameplay loop, it's a lot of fun to just move around and fight the various enemies, and even though it was hard the "nomnomnom" never ceased to amuse.
Second I think adding a little bit more lag time in the rotation of the flying enemies that shoot at the player might be a good idea, I think gameplay wise they are just fine (I'm sure you can balance them better but this isn't really in regards to that), but just for visual feedback so you sometimes see the sides of them a little, as it stands unless one hit a wall I initially thought they were doom style enemies (just a sprite in a 3D world)... which also actually sounds like a cool enemy that would probably fit in this games style.
Third the blonde enemies that launch at the player a little further in, seemingly are impossible to dodge, I'm sure there's a trick to it but try as I might they just destroyed me.
Fourth I think having the ability to pause in between rounds (maybe a bit red button that allows for you to pause after this wave is dead) would help, specifically so you can think about and spend your points.
Fifth the depth of field was a little distracting, I remmember videos of yours showing such a chaotic scene with so many enemies, and I got up there in the numbers but it just looked all blurry a little way from the player.
All in all an excellent game so far! Had a lot of fun.

- guess i cranked the rotation a bit too high lul, i used sprite3D's for them when i didn't have the scans
- blonde enemy is marisa, i probably spammed her too much in da system but she's intended to be a main priority as she has a tiny hp bar, might nerf her a bit
3, looking into it, @dreamy flame was the one in charge of the wave_spawner so i have ZERO clue how to edit it that waysince i have nearsightedness i though it would be funny to make it a mechanic that you had to pay for to delete, not an actual graphic setting lul
only 15% dun completion, i literally made the gameplay loop and upgrades like 4 hours before exporting lmao
