I have created a Godot Doom Engine. It can play doom wad files. It's implemented via GDscript in Godot 3.

I haven't had anyone test it yet so I would like to know how it works for others.

Currently I have just released it as a standalone exe. I will upload the source to Github soon.

This an implementation of Doom in Godot 3 GDscript.
It's not a source port so don't epect it to be too acurate.

Some things I noticed is that the game doesn't pause when I press esc, enemies still move. Also the enemy AI feels very different to actual DOOM, I notice enemies clump up near locked doors and sometimes kill eachother before I do anything.
Also the timing of the weapons feels off. The shotgun shoots a lot faster than it should I think. I would test a bit more but there isn't a terminal I can put in commands like GZDoom.
