finding ressources about sprite animation other than the documentation

i want to make a point and click, my animation will look like these, do you have any recommendation about i'm confused between animation tree and animation player, do i even need an animation tree?

also when i try to animate via animation player i have those weird bug wheir my sprite sheet bug

This is definitely not a bug, it looks like your hframe size is off on a frame somewhere. As far as the overall question on the animation tree, no, animation player is more than enough by itself.
