#Crashing at seemingly random times

the crash is in the form of "application not responding"
so it doesnt throw any error in the terminal when it happens
it happens every 5 to 10 minutes
Can you try with a new project and test it on 4.2rc1 too?
I get something similar where the app will stop taking inputs with no sign of actually being frozen (as far as the OS is concerned) whenever I switch windows (ie. A save window pops up, a tooltip box pops up, I go to instantiate a scene and the popup for that pops up, etc.)

crashed twice in 8 minutes
it froze for a bit, threw this, then didnt save, then when i tried saving again it crashed
Huh.
Btw, I should mention that I'm using Godot on Linux (Ubuntu), just in case this problem happens to be multi-platform
