When I try to create it from the link it suggests, it does not give a code as in the document.

subtle apex
#

anybody got any ideas? gdcry

It's just an example. Yours should match

#

It does give a code, it's there where it says key=

subtle apex
#

the generated key is not the same length as here and must consist of lowercase letters

gaunt willow
#

Why?

#

Have you tried it? I don't know why it would matter

subtle apex
#

yes, when I open encryption and export it, it can't find the pck file

gaunt willow
#

Actually you chose a 192 key size instead of 256

#

Did you compile godot with that key?

subtle apex
#

yes

gaunt willow
#

So you compiled your own export template?

subtle apex
#

yes

#

but didn't work

gaunt willow
#

Must have done something wrong

subtle apex
#

I created the sha256 code as in the post above and created both the template and filled in the encryption key, but it didn't work, I tried again with a different key but it didn't work again.

#

so I think the problem is caused by the value I entered in the encryption key

gaunt willow
#

define 'didn't work'

subtle apex
#

got this error

#

it only works when I activate the encrypt option

gaunt willow
#

activate?

subtle apex
gaunt willow
#

so it does work?

subtle apex
#

no, i get this pck error when i activate the "encrypt exported pck" option

gaunt willow
#

I'm confused

#

You said it works when you have that enabled

subtle apex
#

so i'll explain it again

#

i did everything in the post and when i activate the "encrypt exported PCK" option i get the pck error

gaunt willow
#

Are you absoutely certain you've properly compiled with that key?
