Hi there,
I have got a fully operational digital clone of an analog board game called "Ultimate Railroads" by german publisher "Hans im Glück". It has multiplayer, single player, AI to play against and much more. Generally speaking it is ready to be published.
Unfortunately I don't get the rights by "Hans im Glück" to publish the game. In order to be able to publish it anyways (and not get into license trouble) assets would need to be remastered. Then that wonderful game could be published in the AppStore as a standalone game.

You should try getting in touch with whoever designed the game. They might still have rights to the game and be able to publish a digital version without the board game publisher. Odds are you still need new art (with board games the publisher usually handles game art), but I figured you might be interested in having the game backed by the original designer 😄

I already got in touch with both original designers. Unfortunately they sold all their rights to the board game publisher during covid pandemic. However both stated that they like my game.

Yes I have asked the publisher „Hans im Glück“ as well and they said that they are “currently (whatever that means) not interested”.

@hearty ore did you show previous games you made, the demo, projections of earnings and attempted to schedule a presentation?

Yes I have send them a trailer, gameplay videos and a demo. And I wanted to have a presentation with them but they ignored that.
Regarding earnings: We didnt even come that far in our conversation as they almost immediately blocked everything

In fact I dont even care about earnings, as this is just a hobby of mine.
Yeah I already brainstormed about new rules and feature changes and got some in mind
