And too many zombies wearing chef hats
I wear an apron. A lot of people in food service jobs wear aprons.
way too many hardhats too
and hi vis vests what's up with that
okay? doesnt take away from the fact way too many zombies wear aprons

The point is, it’s not unrealistic for dozens of people to work in the food service industry and wear aprons.
try going outside and count how many people you see wearing aprons
food service workers don't work outside
Ok ill do the math.
Food service employs about 12.34 million people in the USA (stats from december 2025) - https://www.bls.gov/iag/tgs/iag722.htm
There are 258.3 million 18+ people in the USA (no child zombies) (stats from 2020) - https://www.census.gov/library/stories/2021/08/united-states-adult-population-grew-faster-than-nations-total-population-from-2010-to-2020.html
That is about 4.8 percent of the population. Counting 3 shifts, the average amount of the population working in food service at any given time is about 1.6%. Assuming all of these food service workers are working full time (they do not) and all of them are wearing an apron all the time during their shifts (they do not), 1.6% gives us a very generous estimation of one in 62.5 zombies that should wear an apron. This is not the case.
If i were to be more realistic and account for part time work the number would go down to somewhere around 1 in 140, if i were to further take the fact that not all food service workers wear aprons the stats would be even lower.
In conclusion: too many aprons.
nmrih2 does have a glaring lack of zombie variety, but i really don't think the aprons are representative of that issue for most people
aprons in particular i give a pass due to them predominantly spawning in urban areas like Potts T.Square or Lewiston, which have loads of restaraunts 'cause... duh. if e.g. firefighters frequently spawned in Hospital where they don't have a reason to be there, i would be bothered by that, but that's not the case for aprons as far as i'm aware
- Your point? Seems to align with NMRIH 2’s setting.
This ain't really the point of the thread doe
