#A few list of suggestions I have in mind for NMRIH2

rework the visual recoil - i’ve noticed the fully automatic assault rifle has no visual recoil and just moves the gun “up”. the ruger and .22 weapons also have a lot of recoil for small caliber weapons.

i feel like gene therapy is way too scarce for a ginormous map like hospital and every other map. not making them more common but i rarely see them ever in any server.

add bleeding back! it makes bandages have an extra use and makes things more tense. you’re disabled so you cannot jump or kick.

i feel like healing while running makes you feel more aerobatic and nimble. i liked in nmrih1 when you had to heal you needed to take cover cause you couldn’t heal well.

this feels like a stretch but maybe the lighter can come back like before? i liked when you had to click multiple times for it to light up.

maybe add a little cam shake for melee weapons? they don’t feel as weighty and not as satisfying, especially with sharp weapons.

zombies keep spawning in the same buildings and areas and it gets overwhelming. if a place is cleared a horde shouldn’t spawn again in the same place. yes zombies can still come in the building but i mean entire waves of zombies spawn back in a building me and my group already cleared.

character progression feels very generous but the perks also don’t feel so significant. every time i extract i get so many levels and it kinda loses the value on character progression. its very easy to max out characters. the perks themselves also feel very minuscule with the effects.

what if you add RNG elements to the objectives? nothing drastic but like, subtle different locations to different things you pick up or do.

and of course (so far as of right now this is all i have) just optimization tweaks.

you guys are an incredible mod team. i just hope some of these could see a chance implemented. these would make the game more smooth and satisfying. there’s so much potential with this game.

(these are all the suggestions i have so far)

Yeah… like Doom said, everything here is quite reasonable except for the gene therapy change.

And what do you mean by gene therapy having multiple usages?

#

It only has one usage.

GT only cures once but it's not the most intuitive to use and lets you poke yourself before it's ready

And how is that an issue?

GT's confusing mechanics results in players believing that GT has multiple uses
the tutorial is pretty informative, but its rarity in-game means that newbies don't get many chances to learn how it works
