Since there already is a FA switch on M14, I think it would be cool if full auto mode was actually added. Yeah it could make the gun more op until you think about how many rounds you would waste which is somewhat self balancing and it would be so satisfying when you mag dump a whole magazine during an extraction

M14 is probably intended to be something like the Springfield M1A rather than an actual US Army M14
there's a bunch of little modeling errors on other guns that could explain our M14 having the switch
(even though the modeler didn't think this hard about it, you could also imagine that our M14's fire selector is purely cosmetic)

Only the ebr has that characteristic mostly. I’m pretty sure the model we use in game is the archaic model for infantry after ww2. They should just add a end in general tho because it opens rail options and attachment along side the full auto capabilities

ebr is just a different chassis
if there's a fun switch already it means that it is FA
and the fact that the selector switch was most likely copied 1:1 from the model they were based on without intending to add full auto is a different matter
