Hey guys, I just got a reply from the support ticket I send out regarding this issue, and the fix they give did solved it.

Delete the NMRiH2 Folder: Navigate to C:\Users%your username%\AppData\Local, and delete the NMRiH2 folder. This can help resolve settings or loading issues by forcing the game to rebuild certain configurations.

Open your NMRIH2 game > press 'esc' button > click the report button

Here are a couple of workarounds you can try:

• Verify Game Files: Verify the integrity of your game files via Steam. This can help resolve any potential corrupted files causing the issue.
• Delete the NMRiH2 Folder: Navigate to C:\Users%your username%\AppData\Local, and delete the NMRiH2 folder. This can help resolve settings or loading issues by forcing the game to rebuild certain configurations.
• Update Your BIOS: Some users have found that updating their BIOS can help resolve similar issues.

i did all of these. I guess i just have to wait for the nest update

There's one more thing to try relating to the deleting save files fix.

1. Before deleting the NMRIH2 save files, go disable the steam cloud save for NMRIH game (just right click on the game in the steam library list > click properties > In General tab > disable steam cloud)
2. Delete NMRIH2 save files
3. Launch the game.

Doing that didnt work but this did:

Go to C drive, go to users, whatever your username is, appdata, local, then delete NMRiH2 folder

After that, browse local files of No More Room in Hell 2 and also delete the NMRiH2 folder there aswell

Verify integrity of game files

After all of this the game replayed the beginning cutscene after launch and my charcter loaded on the menu

Just in case anyone else tries this I'd also diable cloud save/backup for the game
