all i hear in the second game ambience sounds is like there are ghosts all the time, its good makes the ambience creepy, but i´d like more variation
yea i saw u guys talking about police sirens, military helicopters, screams, more screams, hordes, shooting, etc
Emergency broadcasts too.
if we get urban map we definetly should get this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4TtxHspr5w
This is the distant zombie horde ambience that can be heard virtually anywhere in the game, extracted straight from the game files and looped 3 times.
Original audio file is distant_horde_loop.wav and lasts 13 seconds. All content is from the No More Room in Hell team.
imagine being alone in the city and just listen to hundres of undead people being in agony, damn...
This is the "Cronkite" emergency broadcast heard on several official maps including nmo_brooklyn and nms_ransack, extracted straight from the game files.
Original audio file is cronkite_emergency_broadcast2.wav. All content is from the No More Room in Hell team.

we need more lore in game
thats creppy
i also need the wheel-like inventory, i dont like this one in the sequel
checking your health with your pulse was a great mechanic, hope they manage to put it back
I also hope the same thing. And yes, the weighted inventory system was way better.
We just need to continue the feedback about it.
yeyeye
also
every event that happens ingame should be random
like, the bar alarm doesnt always turn on, or maybe the alarm doesnt go off until the mission is succeded, idk, make the powerplant map more replayable
Good suggestions there.
or maybe ummmm
CRC ACTUAL, always says that we need to activate only ONE of the FOUR buttons to unlock access to the powerplant
well, make it 2..3 or all the buttons to unlock the powerplant
make the game more longer
I already have my thoughts about the CRC. Even though I understand that CRC responders are people who survived the events of the first game, I still feel like we need our characters need to be everyday people who are desperate to survive.
THIS
i dont like my character like that
i want my SURVIVOR to feel fear
i dont want to be an experienced human being, it ruins the vibe of helplessness
i thought this sequel happens at the same time as the first one, but the survivors of the first one being in their fight and the survivors of this sequel being in another, not people who already survived
The devs confirmed that the lore of the first game was just shifted to the second game. In other words, while the events of the first game happened in the 2010s, the lore shifted to the 2020s in the second game.
so
all the events of the firts game are actually happening in 2020?
so if we get... brooklyn map, it will be 2020 brooklyn?
No. All of the events of the first game are happening in the 2010s. The events of the first game are shifted to the 2020s for the second game.
oh, so all the shit happening in the first game is happening at the same time as this sequel
?
Yes and no…
Again, the events of the first game are happening during the 2010s. However, the devs stated for these events have been shifted or moved to take place during the 2020s for the second game.
the power plant event is in 2020
right?
and the responders are survivors that extract in the first game events, that are now happening in 2020?
It is difficult to understand this
this game is happening in 2020, and the first game events are shifted to this sequel timelapse?
Or maybe so, the events of the first game have already happened, right? But were those events that happened changed to 2020? As if it were recent?
It is 17 years after the first game
So nmrih2 is still basically a reboot?
Requel? The rebooted sequel?
Damn, But zombies should already be in a state of decomposition and all that shit There wouldn't even be a radio or power plants to maintain
No I don’t think so
No, because the lore was shifted to the 2020s. The second game’s lore is the same as the first game with the only difference being that the second game’s lore happens in these times.
Ohhhhh i think i understand now
Ok the first Game happens in the 2010
But this sequel have the SAME EVENTS but the diference is that the outbreak is happening in 2020?
Right?
So in theory the first game could be said to be in a universe where everything is happening in 2010
While this sequel is another universe that is happening everything from the first game but now located in 2020 while events from this sequel such as the power plant also happen.
Correct!
And also because when the first game came out as a mod, it was released in 2011. So for the devs, it made sense that the lore took place in the 2010s.
Ooooooohhhh thats cool!
Reading through things, I realize why that's less possible. Because if this game is a continuation of the first set several years later, the odds of people like that existing after a decade is less than likely, right? You'd probably be some sort of capable if you made it this far. But I do agree with it, I wish we were less badasses and more person who was sheltered for a long time from all of this and let other people do the work now exposed to it after some kinda mishap. Would've been a more fun experience.
Agree.
🐱
And my perspective is not from being a purist to the first game even though the first game holds a special place in my heart. I just feel like being an everyday person makes you connect to the experience. You put yourself in a survivor’s shoes and walk their walk in a way.
I hope the map can be made in this form
you want to see dirty and broken finger nails, and bloody map screens?
everytime you use the map it gets bloodier and bloodier, like some Invincibles opening title
Lmao
It would be great if they highlighted the most important moments of the Q & A and placed them here, or at least the reproduction is on YouTube
fr oml they ignored every question
Damn
