Check proof of funds for hiring posts

I am sick and tired of DMing a hiring post that showed eg, $500 payment and 5%, but when I DM and discuss the details its 5% but if the game fails i get "compensated" of $500. Which is a another way of saying "Im only offering %".

This though shouldnt rlly be a thing... Why get compensated after the game fails instead of getting direct pay for my work? Because its not real and is just a way to lure devs in to work for %. Really disgusting.

This is why proof of funds is needed, atleast every like 6 months so that it isnt something thats always there. Just a security check of some sort to make sure good quality posts go into the MP.

Some may disagree or agree im not entirely sure, ill be interested to hear what yall have tho

we've done it in the past, discord starts flagging MP staff accounts because of their detection stuff cuz they dm them asking for personal info. we've stopped doing it
