#Chat for Pro UI Designers such as for Scripters

Even though #modeling is like top3 most used dev channels
And UI is used nowhere near as much as modeling
So it would be a fail
And we'd have to double the channel

Alr
except for people talkin about anything but ui
As if normal interface wasn't horrible enough 😭
What you're actually forgetting is that there are barely any "advanced" UI designers in this server 😁
hi
Hi
what is considered advanced atp bro
who cares abt horrible its or not lmao
Must have mastery over multiple styles, must not rely completely on free/premade vectors for every UI, good UX (literally little to NOONE has good UX in HD) and what not.
But the fact is most people don't even have what I listed so it's probably futile to list any further as the "best" UI designers can often only make one style and that is anime or cartoony.
fr
Exactly
I used the word "completely" for a reason because many people use a whole image vector as a frame.
also arent UX a requirement to be good for the skill role anyway
Trust me, I am the strongest advocate for this. I always oppose when vector making is assumed out of us.
Just at a bare minimum level, it's to display intermediate skill level.
If u hevent seen good and hard made cartoomny designs etc. it doesnt matter its bad or easy style
Read what I stated clearly, I said COMPLETELY, meaning people who ONLY rely on their UI's beauty on premade vectors or such.
What does this mean?
if we're talkin tht way it means tht the whole skill roles system should me revamped
And why would it be so?
jst bc ur sayin tht skill roles show mid lvl of ui for exmpl, than how do we understand tht the person is an actual pro? We need different skill roles such as advanced, master etc.
it arent needed
peope wouldn't hire advanced if theres master, and ect
its just dumb
We don't. Skill roles aren't meant to be used as ranks to bifurcate but as means to prove someone has the caliber to use the marketplace.
and someone could be insanely good at anime ui and not even get advanced
There are too many issues with skill role bifurcation than any good.
Exactly my point.
We already have people demanding 3 years of experience for a 2 month at best UI, it will just generate unnecessary mess.
The application rules are perfect, they don't need any changing.
the reqs are fine how it is
yes ive seen some as well
There have been a few people who have gotten the role from very back in the days when ARs wasn't properly established. However we do wish to remove these people so feel free to report anyone to me via DMs or make an application ticket.
like should this get the skill role?
did once
nuh this sucks
stupid fake UI designers
Ye sure were fake
Im actually good
you just hate us
we're*
Sanctioning off users based on skill only harms growth as it cuts off the flow of information
It’s only really viable for scripter because it’s such a popular skill role
contradicting yourself
im sure there are other popular development branches
thats still unfair
Based on application count alone, it’s not really even close
Closest is maybe builder, but definitely not UI
Yea no shot UI
building, modeling and coding are probably like the top 3
overall not just applications
That’s what this suggestion is about
I’d say scripting is 2x more popular than building and modeling is 2/3 of building
building is just the low quality version of modeling duh
thats why it has more
Two completely different skills btw
Only difference is modeling can exist without building, but it’d be inefficient and annoying
