this mod intern wave i was banned and see how it turned out?? but throughout all the other ones i wasn't, and it turned out great!!
I used your š to š my own message
AYO LIKE AND SUB FOR A CHEESE AND NUTELLA SANDWICH
Haha i wasn't
While I dont let reps do non planned events, almost never I deny an event, because I believe it to be too risky. It only gets denied if a previous event of that caliber was already hosted and it seemed to be a flop.
Also I do checkups, but once a week is a bit much tbh, most people will just say that not enough has happened.
2 is already done
Idk why you are arguing some points, without having that well of an knowledge of the staff team respectively.
Also I saw another thread were you said that staff members were just not treated positively, honestly I find that to be cap.
If a staff member does well Ill def point that out.
And if they dont do well enough, I speak with them on what we can do to improve before taking further action.
People leave because they are mostly teenagers & his is a volunteering job
Instead of trying to determine some of my points you looked for every point to discredit them
I know how staff teams work
I know 9+ staff in my dms
I wonāt disclose them because they are my friends
Iām more than willing to ask them again if they are checked in on or treated properly which considering I asked a week ago would be surprising if I had a different result.
This is the problem as well with suggestions - you take the bulk of the message and shorten it down to why it cannot be done
Rather than taking key points and working off that to improve
I obliviously canāt word this perfectly because yes I am not staff, I am not a writer either.
Also 2 is not done - youāre not a moderator and itās not a sole representative issue
Iād like to see testament to this as well
I know how the entire process works from being an intern to being a full staff
Iāve had it screenshared to me
Or recorded
I know how every bit works
From moderation, representative, and application readers
Donāt come here trying to say things like ācapā rather than actually reading it and seeing how you can work off that
If you want to influence suggestions or improvement like I said try to understand how you can work off suggestions
Donāt find every way to discredit them
And or disregard them
Thatās lazy, not leadership.
I also wanna add
If you ask me who shared things like the internship process, quota, intricacies of overall staff
I wonāt share
Actually a lot of these points Iāve made were articulated by these staff members I know
And if I share your only intent would be to punish them than to figure out the main issue.
Fix the leadership
I am a mod
Just on IN
Im not sharing proof lmao, it is not an investigation
I was largely talking about rep but okay
Thatās understandable
Ill look into it
Sure
Business is ruthless
Was responding to your message saying you are mod
But itās not a business
I responded quite assertive because some things were listed which I didnt really think were true regarding to the rep team. If there is a rep who is a friend of you that displayed these issues, please tell them to contact me, because I am more than willing to discuss any improvements to the department.
Willing is not even the right word, id encourage them even tbh
Perfect
As far as the first point is concerned, staff is already taken proper care of... I am not sure how you are concluding all this especially since you are not a staff member and have never been. We are open to any and all friendly conversations with staff members; moreover, they are recognized, credited and interacted with from time to time. Any intern or full staff member is free to reach out to their concerned department's Senior, Management or Department Leader if they feel they are considered 'dispensable' or not given enough importance. If someone has direct messaged you, first I am not sure why they'd not reach out to a higher-up in their department first since we welcome all kinds of feedback, criticisms and suggestions.
We have many internal regulations and activities in place as well to monitor the well-being of all the staff members, as well as to address and incorporate their needs if and when needed. If you are not showing any proof of 9+ staff members in your DMs, it's not possible to address the 'non-existing' issue that you are raising through this suggestion. No one in staff gets punished for giving honest feedback. As far as the AR department is concerned - we strive to make all the ARs (including interns) feel comfortable and chill. At the end of the day, being a staff member here is 'voluntary' for everyone and Administrators are no exceptions either. Lastly, there is a limit to what can be done and what can't be done as staff members are not employees. I am personally open to free-flowing conversations with anyone in my department or another department i.e. casual chatting. They are not just contacted when there's an issue/ need help with the role.
this all seems like a suggestion that would be more appropriate from an actual veteran staff member who is familiar with what goes on behind the scenes and actually knows about what goes on
and agreeing to what aero said ive never seen someoneās logical and actually decent suggestion get shot down without an articulate reasoning behind it, especially in marketplace where we are adding new features to our behind the scene mechanics almost weekly
Also, you are free to apply for staff and see for yourself if you get accepted. Otherwise, best not to generalize and comment if you've never been a staff member yourself. Anyone who wants to join, should not have very high hopes about HD Staff or expect a lot from the fellow staff member(s), everyone has real life commitments that they may want to prioritize and we respect that; henceforth, we try to be lenient as much as possible in terms of quota. I like to familiarize and be able to know my fellow staff members better as well; if they're open to such interactions of course!
Bros never been staff, how does he know what we get treated like
acting like everyoneās whipped or something
ong
Solocord pls dont punish me again today
Only @mossy roost is whipped by me when he leaves no Builder apps for me

Literally talk to multiple staff and topics like this are a frequent pop up
You cant talk on behalf of staff when no one is vouching
Part of what Iāve already said is because theyāve broke some of their own rules to explain it to me
And Iād rather not get them in trouble
Like showing staff server messsges
But because I need to be a veteran staff member to bring up such a thing
I deleted the suggestion
So there you go
tf š
If youāre going to campaign for change donāt back down the second you receive opposing commentary. @mossy roost has been staff a good bit , ive been staff for around 18 months, and @open geode for much longer. All of us are (were) in different departments and havenāt faced the difficulties that your suggestion outlined
I also have issues with both of them besides yourself
Besides the point
Just take it with a grain of salt I suppose
This suggestion is just a "logical fallacy".
If you believe there is seriously a pressing issue I recommend going directly to @timid socket
Sure
My dms are always open
Gotcha
we gotta toughen em up
we cant have theses soft moderators running around
the only way is to harass them and make more investing suggestions
im gonna take care of you

funny thing is im baking bread @viral mist gave me the recipe for

#MoreInvestingSuggestions
how about you invest in deez nuts
š
I would but the size of them is too small to be profitable
LMAOOOOO
idk man in ancient rome small nuts were a sign of intelligence and they were the biggest empire at the time so...
idk rome kinda fell off
...kinda like your nuts
I read throughout the comments scattered amongst the messages. I don't know what you originally said @fathom hamlet but I would like to comment on the staff being mistreated roller coaster that seems to be going on here.
I think one thing to keep in mind is that all the staff chose to apply, and have always had the ability to leave at any moment. One thing HD does really well is accepting sometimes people just don't actually want to commit to something with authority, and don't make a "three week leave notice" until higher ranks, which is something I really approve of.
Being a staff member can be really hard, absolutely, the amount of times I have received hateful comments is beyond comparable, and I have been staff maybe a day, but an intern for a few weeks, so I have no idea how the older members may feel.
I understand that people worry about how we might be treated, thats a fine conclusion to come to when you don't see things we see, but the main thing I wanted to highlight is the fact that all those hateful trolls? They can never undo the good I feel when I help someone out in need. The downside of me being staff is, yes, I might be targeted from a troll, but I get to do really good work, with amazing developers. People that inspire not only myself but others to be better.
That is something I wouldn't give up, and you can bet, itll take a lot more than "go die" in 99% of our staffs dms to turn them away from the love and joy the feel entering the chat and seeing their friends.
It's not a worry I have and had multiple staff testimonies to mistreatment
but
It doesn't matter
I would love to see that
buddy thinking he a journalist or something š testimonials
