Advanced/secondary server

I think we all know about the https://discord.com/channels/211228845771063296/1234227307745644715 suggestion, and I thought of a way to add this, but in a different way.

What can be done is to make a secondary server that anyone (not including ppl who are recorded in the scam logs) can join and anyone can make a hiring post, but for advanced devs, and the way you would get "advanced" role is via applying for it on the HD site with even stricter reqs, so someone would have "Scripter" skill role, and then another role named "Advanced" and these ppl can post in a hire-able channel just like in this server.

So pretty much a copy of this server without the events, and qa channels, and all development channels would be "advanced" and this would remove the advanced scripting and modelling channels here.

I'm aware that this would increase the load on the staff by a lot. but it would help this server in the long run, There are a lot of tweaks that would need to be made, but idk tell me what you guys think.

My condolences to the SI, and bot teams if this does get added. (I won't be talking about the MP team, cuz well I will probably be IP tracked by cat man if this does get added, but let's be honest, this is going to be shot down in the first response from another staff member)

Oh yeah, to add on to this, for people with multiple skill roles, they won't get that role in the advanced server unless they made an app for it. So if someone has modeler and builder skill roles here, and applied for advanced modeler and he got it, it will only show "advanced" and "modeler" roles, even if he has builder in here, so if he wanted to have both skill roles and be able to post in both hire ables respectively, he would need to apply for advanced modeler and builder

This will just take activity out of main server which will have many more undesired consequences i.e. possible loss of partnership and users not receiving the help they might need

I don't think so, cuz there will be very few ppl with the advanced role (aka ppl who are actually good at what they do) so ppl will still post a lot here.

that's gatekeeping

stricter rules for advanced [skill] roles sure, requiring 2 or more is just pushing it

if someone wants to specialize in just one thing (such as scripting) and they're very good at that, you're essentially punishing them for not exploring other areas of development

Eh, the admins would decided that, and if you are advanced game Dev, you would probably have more than just 1 skill

the whole point of this suggestion is to add a server for ppl to essentially go and hire 'advanced' developers of varying skills

if i need an 'advanced scripter', then i can kiss goodbye all the advanced scripters who aren't advanced enough for one other skill because of your stupid arbitrary 2-skill role requirement

And as far as "advanced" Scripters go, I worked with like maybe 7 that I could call them that

well, I didn't expect you to check this suggestion out, but nevertheless, my train of thought was that if a whole server was dedicated for advanced devs and hiring those advanced devs, it would increase how active it is overall, and it would be a massive rep boost to be an advanced dev in HD

but as I said this is all up to the admins, and a lot of tweaks would need to be done. It has it's pros and cons, but having the ability to say something like "I have the advanced role in the (whatever name you guys think is appropriate) HD server, would be like having a sign on your head that says "yeah ik what I am doing and I am pretty good at it)

I just see no reason for there to be another server

i know reviews are in the works

But have bbeen exploring a way to signify a a more talanted developer
