They may have said "They can do GUI Scripting work" which means if you give then the UI they can script that out and make it functional

however, for your post, you want a developer who is able to completely script and design the UI for the whole system, which we would objectively consider shotgun hiring
it may of been okay if you already had existing ui and for example the scripter just needed to touch it up/make modifications or small additions, but not completely take on two roles

Is it really worth it to appeal a post as opposed to just creating an entire new one? The application reader denied my request on the basis that revenue was not guaranteed (because I "promised" revenue by making the payment a percent on our game,) but the game has over 300,000 visits and has made plenty of money. I just do not want to waste my time appealing if the game's current low player count is going cause the appeal to be denied. Gotcha. I need to talk with the owner though because we rewrote the entire game with brand new pet models, animations, backend, front end, etc. I'm pretty sure he's leaning towards releasing the update as an entire new game itself (because migrating old data to new systems would be pretty horrific and we don't have enough animations,) but I think that if that becomes the case then it would be clear that percentage would not be enough to get past app readers.
