Let’s say Dave hires you to create a car, you agree, and then you hire Luke to make the car for Dave. Luke fails to make the car. Not only would you have been scammed by Luke, you would have also scammed Dave since you never provided him the car he asked for.

Rule of thumb, if someone hires you, you should be the one making it to avoid any liabilities

You also need to make sure your client knows you aren’t the one making the product and that they’re ok with it
