So, I would bring that up with them. Inform them you are willing to give them a partial refund, and come to an agreement. You can state you want to keep a bit of the payment in order to compensate for the lost time. Otherwise, you would have to give them a refund of what was paid to you, which you can then file a scam report for time waste.

to write a group of developers in the description is... unneeded? after speaking to @glass arrow I was informed that my post to acquire the animator role would be accepted if I just added my name and group into the description of my game stating that I created the animations, which is what I did. it seems arbitrary to include credits in the description when they're in the game.
