u need to figure out what the view of the letters should be AFTER they are arranged. There are many ways to combine the letters to form a logo but the appearance of how they look combined depends on what the overall form and shape should mean. this allows you to move from blatantly combining the letters in any way possible to instead forming them together with intent.
