try putting it in greyscale and seeing which partss stick out to you the most
personally id put an orange or warm soft light/overlay layer on the light area of the drawing on the purple one

You can put highlight, but I suggest doing the shading with hard edges first to actually define the muscles properly, everything is currently in soft shading and no hard shadows are visible. Trust me, it makes a lot of difference if you give hard edges of shadow and use airbrush only on certain places. If you want, I can show you what I mean with your art

@lilac sedge do u see how I used hard edges on some places? That’s because when two objects or things are very close together, sunlight doesn’t manage to get through and hence, darker. Whereas in other places, sunlight does get through but not as light because objects are not as close, and bounce light acts in that favor as well. The closer something is together with another, the more darker that intersection point will be. And the opposite area of the hard edges will be lighter. I drew a simple tutorial with the balls, and showed both with one being in colour and the other without. The further the ball is, the softer the shadow will be, and the closer the ball is, the more the shadow will be more distinct. Btw, for brushes, I used airbrush (with lasso tool) and the pen fade brush in ibis paint for the guy rendering
I also recommend trying to learn anatomy btw, and where muscles go
