Something I've been able to conclude in UI design and skills in general is understanding the way things work in your program and also the theme that's currently popular, if you know how to make something for example lets say you want to remake a UI box, you already know how the steps in how to make it. The main things I use are literally : paint brush and eraser

then extra things are lasso tool but only to adjust things not to paint!

i used different methods for each. (i like how u covered my art with lines when theyre accessible on my site lol)
left i kinda forgot but ik for the right one i used the following:

• a large amount of color layer for each shade level all using the multiply and overlay mode
• i used an airbrush for the sky with a glowdodge layer properly to make it glowy
• i colored the lineart for each object via transparency lock and all i did was color pick the object and just move the color wheel towards the bottom right to achieve a darker shade for the lineart to standout
• i added very low opacity airbrush between each landscape area/layer for extra depth and ambience
