Well at a small scale, it's pixel art, I draw the outline in pixel outline so from afar if done properly shouldn't pop out, when it comes to texturing I tend to use certain blending methods for certain colours + I sometimes need to manually correct lighting with an airbrush, the muscles are photobashed but I tried to make it anatomy-friendly.
Wrinkling and folds is a mixture of brushes i use and knowing some fabric basics, for the final touches, I treat it as a normal photo, maybe increase sharpness, increase contrast, maybe less saturation, etc

But they were hesitant and sorta wanted to cancel since they wanted to see a better wip that fit their vision better (more realistic) and since they said they were scammed before after sending after WIP sksk. But yeah they cancelled 😭 but I just hope it's general enough to resell the art.
