It looks cool I like the style u went for. It prolly wouldn't work for an icon tho to be completely honest cuz it's too dark and all the other icons would win in an attention appeal race

But I do get u were trynna make it dark

If ur trying to do a dark moody setting something I've doing works is using contrast between background and character or adding some directional lighting that's very sharp

One thing that helps is thinking of 70/30 ratios when painting

Decide 70% shadow or light and then 30% shadow or light

Doing that will help a shit ton on moods and overall appeal
