i use smooth if a drawing is goin to be small, and i use high accuracy if the image will get bigger in a game and such

300x300 original was 3000x3000, high is good for closeup but if its a vector image then bilinear is better imo

regardless, all downscaling methods have their own uses and not all are perfect/made for all downscales

(it also depends on the art style, if u do pixel art then u might need to downscale using nearest neighbor method)
