So, I was wondering if anybody could please point me to the right direction. I've been looking for any info related to building a memory profiler / visualiser for luau (using it as a standalone language), similar to Luau VM memory exploration tools.
I've been able to collect data about total allocations amount and memory used/freed via custom a allocator function (lua_setallocf), but I have no idea how to actually track, say, memory used per type, let alone every object individually, seems like allocator function alone won't do the trick. Are there any resources available on how to approach this? Or maybe there's somenone smart out there to annoy ask. Thanks!

well my passion project isnt brainrot guys what the freak in the attack on the reporter
its the most common case, passion projects do NOT have a good reputation in hiddendevs (not assuming all of them are bad, as some do have potential)
And when its an actual project then finding a team isnt as difficult
in my opnion, its mostly about funds, most developers are willing to work in any game (if it doesnt hurts their own reputation) for a certain price
being it a passion project or serious project, you DO need funds for a successful game, even if you solo develop it

Fossil Fighting Simulator
A simulator game with a story/quest aspect that is not so kid-like (eg games like Pet Simulator, or Mining Simulator), but has a more serious aspect like Fisch or DIG
Similar to Pokemon, but instead of catching monsters in balls, you dig up monsters in certain spots in the ground. Depending on how good you dug up the monster, the better quality it is. Once you dig up a fossil, you can take it back to a digsite to be cleaned up and reveal the bones inside. At this point, you have a monster but bone monsters are weak. You need to use a reviving machine to fully bring back the monster for it to truly gain back its power.
Several quests are present in the game. It's basically like Pokemon if it was DIG!. The main aspect is progressing through the game, fighting in tournaments, and also a PvP aspect.

also, the invite friends button has a shadow around it while the spawn button does not. this makes people more want to click on the invite button than spawn in, which is a bit ehhh
if it were me i would have put a glow around the gem and coin + buttons, to entice users to click on them
another thing is the titles on the starter pack window and codes window. the gradient coloring on both is a bit inconsistent likewise with the padding

I realized the real problem I’m trying to solve is keeping a black screen on throughout teleporting, then I can always fade the black screen out and in before and after teleporting respectively.
