You don’t have to do .Value and it looks like you aren’t getting the player/char yet.

You’d have to first check if the part that touched is one which belongs to a character and then if it does go from there

Honestly there are quite a few things wrong with this, so to save you some time I’d recommend asking chat gpt to fix/explain

currently I am making a sound service, I have the need to create a lot of sounds since for example if u hover on a UI and it plays a sound and u remove it of the top of the ui and hover it again, it should have to create another sound and play them as well, my current approach is that I preload a specific number of sounds as instances being it a pool of sounds and as needed I reparent them to the object and play the sound

we can see that our strings variable has multiple elements: "Element1 Element2 Element3" but the key thing here is that they have spaces to sepperate them. We can use a nice function called string.split(). What it does is stores all splitted strings into a table {}. To simplify:

I want the player to whenever he touches the parts inside the parts folder, for the part to become invisible to that player and cancollide = false. but when he dies, the part becomes visible again and cancollide = true. But the problem is that each part is 1000 studs apart so the furthest away ones don't replicate to the Client, so I should do it through the Server first (or at least the touch part of it)

And for preventing glitches I need the .Touched to only fire once per part, problem is that if I do it through the Server, it'll affect all players.

Any ideas on how I could solve this?
