why is it heavier the more i remove

if I remember correctly, parameters are what a function can take, while arguments are the values passed in the function.
— x, y, z are the parameters

i was wondering to use blender-rigged vehicles for animations or revert to motor 6D's
im currently using 6D's but i heard the advantages of blender-rigged is not only is it all done in blender so you can have very intricate animations but its easier to script since its just doing values from 0-1
but it takes a while to setup for both of them so i dont know if the advantages are worth it (in terms of time)
are you trying to animate the chassis? like car door opening animations, while having the vehicle drive-able?

Move the map and lobby ~10k studs apart of each other, if you want you can modify the max zoom cap lower so players can’t zoom out as far outside the map. I suggest making them also on the same height so they can’t glance up and see it. If there is a point higher than map walls then I suggest you don’t do this

whats the best way i could handle the "states" of a first person gun so i cant shoot while reloading or reload while shooting or shoot while equipping etc
my personal preference is making a string attribute on the character model and utilizing enums (via tables) https://roblox.github.io/lua-style-guide/#guarding-against-typos
For an example of an enum with sanity checks
You can then do stuff like (assume the table is named Gun) -- Gun.Shooting, Gun.Reloading, Gun.Idle, etc etc. You'll then add necessary conditionals.

Hello guys, I messed up my bitfield in my hobby project. I assumed that every 90 degrees, 3D rotations could be represented by only 6 unique (non-mirrored) rotations (which is false) and stored in only 3 bits . In fact, there are 48 3D rotations, of which 24 are non-mirrored witch can be stored in 5 bits. If anyone has any knowledge about the buffer lib, please help me.

its a waste to go into replicated storage, go to the folder where my debug module is, require it, just to change a boolean thats global anyways as the module isnt following any OOP designs.. because its a debug module. Much faster to just utilize _G to change it on the spot.

And __index? I‘ve also seen many programmers use, but can’t get the hang of it.
when you index a table (either table[key] or table.key) that has a metatable that has .__index, it'll search through the original table first for that key. if it doesnt find it, it'll search through the metatable with that key. if it doesnt find it, it errors/returns nil (this is in context of what i wrote above)
that's why i used .__index in that module's table so i dont have to define those functions within the module over and over again when making a new table outside of the module. the constructor will help out with that by setting the new table's metatable to the module's table
