if so, use the fire function using bindable event
but what about making dynamic AI movement? so AI uses pathfinding somewhat to covers without using waypoints
i just wanna make it like Far Cry 3 or Warface AI
where they get in cover using everything
update all the players distance if they get in range and use raycast if his visible and lock on a target

You can make the cover to a designated cframe spot, and :Move() enemy humanoid to that position if the humanoid health is below normal
create a path finding for it (for like for following the player) and stop when the player is visible (this kind of like peeking)
pretty sure it wouldnt work with AAA sized terrain
im unsure if roblox even can do so that AI can use dominance of azimuth
so if bot is higher than player, it will use advantage
or terrai cover
like crawling if terrain is good for it
also i had a bug with my bots
when i used part pathways
i had 1 map with 3 different heights with those pathways

and when i used another map and placed pathways in different places but same height, they just freezed my studio, and couldnt move

Guys, how on earth do you gain experience with commissions when all the commissions that are hiring are looking for devs with 2+ years of experience. I have that experience its just that I don't have a portfolio to send them, and I can't get a portfolio without actually getting to work for someone. So its a never ending cycle of only the devs that managed to get a portfolio before are able to get the commissions. And thing is, I can even do most of the things that the people hiring request to do, it's just that I don't have a portfolio. Nowadays, you'll be seeing them ask for 3+ years of experience to code an obby, when even my little brother can code an obby which is ridiculous.

Ive got a helicopter ive scripted and im using align orientation for body physics and was using angular velocity for yawing (rotating left or right in a circle) but angular velocity causes align orientation to fling all over the place and not work. Is there a way to use both or make it yaw with align orientation
It would be easier to use if you combine it with align orientation than to use angular velocity so might as well

i would imagine you would have a "resting position" where when you dont move, all the legs are also not moving and also have a resting position offsetted by some amount. when you move, that offset between the legs would lengthen or shrink which would update the foot planting to the offset to the hrp (or whatever is the root) as if it were resting
you would offset the resting position of each foot to your desired position and having some offset ahead from the root which might get what you want
im completely guessing here and might be completely wrong. i wish i could give you a more definitive answer
i would imagine the root of the ik would be hrp or what the rootpart of the creature is

you didnt specify the property you want to change. i imagine it's either position or orientation so you would do: {Position = Vector3.new(25, 10, 25)} or {Orientation = Vector3.new(25, 10, 25)}

it works normally but, if the player wears a “armor” from star wars it for some reason doesnt register any more hits

i found out the armor/player in this game have CanCollide = false
Could that be the leading cause of the AI not being able to register damage? Because there’s a similair gun system which works fine.

it will pass through the armor, and sense the player has can query ON but the ARMOR has it off, even though collsions are OFF on the PLAYER, it will still register the player and deal the damage

collison doesnt affect raycast
