#wand setup wont open

wand setup won't open to instal the program.
i removed all the old files from wemod now when i try to reinstall the program upon dubble clikking the setup it shows it for 3 sec in the task manager the show suspended and nothing happens.

yes i did ive restarted my pc and removed my anti virus completely

No setup logs? No prompts? Just kills the program after you open it?

Have you tried running the installer as an administrator?

yes and in the tast mamager is show suspended for a sec then removes it self from the task list

Which windows OS are you on? And what antivirus company did you have installed prior to removing it?

windows 11 and bit defender

This all just points towards your computer/antivirus blocking the program.

I would start looking at doing a system cleanup, or try repairing your windows and even checking windows security.

Reinstall
  1. Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
  2. Find and delete these folders:
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download

It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:

C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Wand
C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Wand

the wans folder is not in my appdata because the program is not istalled on my pc

removed removed all the files deleted bitdefender again closed windows defender still got the same problem start the wand-setup as admin get the loading circle thingy for 2 secs then nothing happens

We mod always worked perfectly but sinds the wand update it stopped working
