WeMod not working for steelrising

purchased on steam, im only using wemod, its single player, no error messages. the mods work with the commands i just cant open the overlay. using the mod commands is very uncomfortable and inconvenient for this game

You can try verifying the game files on Steam. Wait for the process to finish then click Play on WeMod. Once the game has loaded, press alt+W to launch the overlay.

When you have the time, try reinstalling the WeMod app.

1.Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall WeMod.
2.Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
3.Restart your PC.
4.Reinstall WeMod by downloading from: https://api.wemod.com/client/download

It's likely something on your end interfering with the overlay, Have you tried restarting your pc and turning off any unnecessary programs then running wemod again.
