Please follow these steps:
Uninstall WeMod via the Add Or Remove Programs feature found in settings/control panel.
Navigate to these three places and, if these folders still exist on your PC, delete them:
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\WeMod
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp
C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
Restart your PC
Download WeMod’s offline installer from this direct link: https://api.wemod.com/client/download Install the software.
Before you launch WeMod, Add the following WeMod folders as exceptions to your antivirus software:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\WeModC:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod
If you are unable to whitelist the entire folders, you may need to whitelist the specific files mentioned below:
- Update.exe, located in
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod - WeMod.exe, located in
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod - WeModAuxiliaryService.exe, located in
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\WeMod\app-VERSION_NUMBER\resources\app.asar.unpacked\static\unpacked\auxiliary

What AV [Antivirus] do you use?
AVG. I have attempted disabling it during install to see if it would make a difference. Can confirm, AVG was interfering. I have added the exceptions, turned AVG back on and it is now successfully launching. Thank you for prompt, excellent assistance! 🤓 👍

Your advice was successful. Will keep it in mind. Any better antivirus you could recommend? AVG used to be pretty solid, now it's as annoying as Kaspersky.

I use Malwarebytes, It's really a personal preference for everyone.
Windows is also decent.
