I forgot to turn off unlimited items. Now I can't craft a watering can. Is there perhaps a fix?

Try verifying the game files on Steam. Go to your library, then right-click the game. Select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Wait for the process to finish. --this can probably remove the changes made by the mods. but like I mentioned, if it doesn't work, then you'll have to start over.

they won't, they know when you've modded the game
I've tried contacting them too because I'm having the same problem with the watering can and they told me immediately they don't support modded versions of the game
so the only solution is to restart a new save and turn off unlimited items before quests

oh man, that really sucks. For me it's not about the progress but about the special items from the events. Is there a way to get that across somehow?

i found my backup from saturday. And i change it to the save data. and now i can play my old save 😍 I lost a little level progress but I'm getting it back. at least I don't lose any event items

I haven't deleted mine in hopes of there being a way to fix it so please tell me how you did that

%appdata%/LocalLow/Sunblink Entertainment/Hello Kitty/Saves click on the number from the save and go to the backups. Now find the backup file you need (i Needed the backup file from 02.15.2025) and edit the file ( My was SaveSlot_0_ 17....lbak ) so i edit this to save_0.save and go to the saves folder under the Backups folder and replace the old save file with the edited backup file. I hope you unerstand this 😄
