Is anyone able to help me to get the function to freely construct to work?

Ive enabled this function and pressed B and tried placing down for example a gate. After placing it I disabled the function again but it wont let me build without having having the full resources.

If I tried everything I could but I cant freely build without resources. Maybe Im doing it the wrong way so any help would be appreciated!

It says:

"Activate the mode then Press B to open the structure window. After you get the mod effect, you must disable the mod"

My game? Steam
All the other options work except Free Construction and Easy Craft in Workshop

Have you tried launching the game first and waiting until you can move freely within the game world, and then opening the mods by clicking PLAY?

You cannot disable the mod if you want the free building part of it.

I dont want to disable the mod? I just want to use the Free Construction function but I cant every time I enable it place down a wall, gate or anything other than that it wont let me build it even if I have the needed tools in my hand. I cant build anything until I got the exact resources needed for it.

Are you using any other mods with the game?
Have you tried verifying you steam files or if the game allows multiple saves see if yours is bugged.

Every other mod is working fine, it really only is the free construction so doubt anything regarding steam files or saves is the issue.

Sorry i meant are you using any other mods aside from wemod? Like addons etc. ( if available)

I just understand how a older version would cause to be the problem. I assume Chris is on the latest version too. There clearly is something Im doing wrong

Just to confirm you have been following any noted special instructions (if listed) beside the cheats name.

To build anything without resources I'd have to use the Free Construction. So I enable the function press B in-game place whatever I wanne build down. Disable the function again and then when I would click build it should build it?
