Could be an antivirus software interfering with WeMod. Try whitelisting or adding any exception for these two folders:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\WeMod
and
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\WeMod

After, you may need to restart your pc. But you can try using wemod for call of the wild
