my 5090 power connector melted while playing on 17 accounts on eve online, whats crazy is the gpu was only kicking out 81c heat but the connector hits 177c, asus gave me a full refund and a 4090 for free, cause i was without a gpu

Oh, at least they provided a free 4090 — that’s a pretty solid resolution! I’m currently using a 5090 with the 12V-2x6 power connector Lian Li Strimer v2. One of our technicians mentioned that as long as the connector isn’t bent too much, you should be fine. Just to be safe, I undervolted my GPU to help keep temps in check 😅

No need, we’ve already built multiple systems with 4090s and 5090s, and even with the PCIe Gen5 cable, there’s never been an issue. Just keep your hands out of the case if you don’t know what you’re doing. The biggest problem people run into with these connectors is that they don’t plug them in properly. The PCIe Gen5 cable clicks in on both sides when connected correctly.

For 4k, the 32" is perfect. Not too big and not too small. Plus, the pixel density is there for 4k. It's only not as good for 1440p since you lose the desnity you'd have on a 27" panel.

depends on your expectations, if you want DLAA+PT+Yeeted settings on an Ultrawide and do not have the right combination of hardware to help a 4090 making it struggle a 5090 is ideal for brute force. To if you are on a Super Ultrawide to 4k its also ideal. A 4090 can also do those resolutions but more of a compromise visually has to be made for performance.

I do suggest you clean all the LM off of it and the chip, and use an authentic honeywell PTM7950 thermal electric pad on the founders.

Well, it could be a couple of things...some mods won't be available unless you pay for the pro version. Also, be sure to read the hints that are usually marked with an !

You also have to start the game first, then tab out and activate the mods after the game is running

I don't speak that language in the picture but it looks like you have to choose which platform you're using it for. If that's the case pick the platform that you're playing the game on. Start the game tab out select the game in wemod and turn on the mods that you want activated and then press play at the top right. Did a chance, sadly over my better judgement tried the new bios/microcode Intels solution for low quality silicon? Yeet the vcore with 1.5-1.6V+ :/ had enough and went with amd for the first time in 24 years. Already had the AIO sitting around so used that.
