Yours is a pretty good build. Those 3070 Ti's are a beast for their cost, I've got one in my laptop, good pick. And I'm always a fan of having lots of storage, so that's nice too. Overall it's definitely a solid setup for sure.

For RAM upgrades, it really depends on just monitoring your usage during whatever you do to see where it peaks, you may not even need to put in more than the 32 if it never gets over 85%-ish.

If you really want to go all in on making it a high end rig, you can check what the motherboard will handle for highest RAM and NVME speeds and cap those out. Same with the CPU. Unless you want to also get a new motherboard for it too.

Honestly though most of what's out there is massively overkill for what most people use their PCs for. Best way you can figure out the best upgrades for yourself, since there really isn't any hard rules for this, is to watch your resource utilization and check all the recommended specs for whatever you're running to figure out where you can make the most impact with upgrades

For example, if you're seeing that some games and programs start to cap put your memory when you have it running on high performance settings, then you'd want to upgrade not only the amount of RAM, but probably the speed of the RAM as well, and make sure it's all the same speed and capacity.

Or if you're doing a lot of large file tranfers, get a gen 5 nvme with the fastest speds your motherboard will support.

There's no definitive way to go about it really. Just Identify your needs and upgrade accordingly.

Setting up the fans and making them work was the hardest part for me, but that is the temp results when playing arcade games or light use in general.

The desk itself doesn't usually cost a lot, but its the idea of bad air circulation that force you to go with full liquid colling on everything, and that's why its expensive to make

I remember someone made a video and talked about it; without liquid cooling, space for fans and air circulation was bad. With full liquid cooling, it no longer matters the shape of the case that's why some use desk cases as aesthetic.
not sure how maintenance goes as well. since most desk pc are custom-made.
i for obsidian CORSAIR 1000D. since it fits for anything and easy to adapt for future upgrades.

It’s not just about the total volume size it’s the shape, I prefer a cube over wide rectangular. Unless you have a really strong fans on the right that can blow till the other side, plus an exhaust from the left. But you’ll need to have a table as thick as the length of the fans .

Or having a thin table with multiple fans above the table to cover enough intake circulation cause it’s wide from above, or… a full liquid cooling system.

I’m just imagining the scenarios, but I can’t picture a nice desk setup without a full liquid cooling system.

Upgraded to a chonky 4090 last night. Benchmarks were impressive, can't slow this thing down for anything so far. Thankfully I have a large case and was already using the 12VHP16pin cable.

Specs gskill ddr5 32gb 8000mhz cl38, i9 13900ks 6.2ghz pcore 4.5 ecore, msi z790 ace, 4090, 10gbs asus pcie card, 6 ek 120m 2200 fans, 4 artic 4000rpm fans, jonsbo dual fan ran cooler, thermal grizzly direct die cpu cooler with thermal grizzly extreme liquid metal, crucial t705 gen 5 nvme 2tb, 3 lexar nm800pro gen 4 2tb nvme, custom-made fan controller for server fan from Arctic. Ek dual d5 pump, Watercool MO-RA3 420 PRO Radiator, 9 nactua 140m 3000 RPM industrial fans still waiting on four more to arrive only received five today and still waiting on heatkiller reservoir from watercool. All the fittings are EK besides the disconnects are from Koolance, 2 bottles of Koolance 705 Liquid Coolant, Electrically Insulative, Colorless, totaling 1400ml (48fl oz) of coolant.

Also, I’m waiting on the radiator cover for the fans.

Test before changing out the water cooling with the new parts I’ll update after I get rest of my fans and reservoir.

It’s completely crushing the Ryzen 7 9800X3D but using like four times the power lol.

My PC runs quite and pulls 30ish temp of CPU and 20ish on the GPU without an air jet behind the system 😂

Actually my top is exhaust, intake is only front, the double sided fans on top are and the back are exhausts, the PSU on the bottom exhaust from the bottom, I inverted the PSU to do that so it does not exhaust inside the case.
