Not at all, you miss most of your performance

I personally don't get the logic, you get the best CPU, a high end GPU, top of the line motherboard and then pair it with a very low end single channel RAM. Which is throttling kinda all other components in pretty much everything you are doing. I would really advise to just get 1 more stick of RAM and you won't regret it at all.

recently upgraded to a i5-13600kf, 32gb ram (ddr5) and really been asking myself WTF should i be doing to utilize all the available cpu cores. Yea diablo4 will heat the cpu up pretty good however i blame their engine for that (seems heat levels go up as soon as you start mousing over inventory items) but for every other game i've been left wondering what random utilities i could be running to take advantage of unused cores.

Current setup....I change my gaming room around so much. I'm 53...been a freelance computer technician since 1996. From 2018-2022 I took a break from pc gaming and played console only. I just recently built a new one. It's not top of the line or anything but a HUGE upgrade from a 2600k/gtx 570 😬🤣. Gen 1/2 to gen 4 was quite a leap. I tried to attach photos but the bot kept deleting my message 😂 so here's a small video. I also wanted to add I had always used "CH" for my trainers...I've known and used trainers by fling since they've been around....but I'm going all wemod pro from now own! Thank you for the hard work. The trainers are better, have more options AND support more games that I play that CH does not. I only have one question. After my 3 day trial does a full year payment have to come out or is there a way to make monthly payments?

I did own and use a 1080ti right after they hit the market. Shortly after the ram module on my board went bad. Ironically warranty through EGVA had expired a few months before. That's when I decided to take a break from pc and game some on my ps4 which I never touched. I gave the 1080ti away free to someone I met in ESO 🤦‍♂️it was so new it literally smelled new....and I'm a heavy indoor smoker.

The X trio has a support bracket, but it's for horizontal mounting, at least the ones I got with them.

Iirc there are some that you can screw into your case from the middle which could help with a vertical mount, normal the vertical mounting bracket should give the support. Might be not a heavy enough one for that GPU. A worrying fact might also be airflow from the bottom fans there is no clearance between the bracket and the bottom fans. Unless it's a mesh type which is all fine then

Only way to 100 % know is to check from the the side pov of front cover, you will see a tilt rather easy there

However from both those pictures the GPU is tiled, unless the bracket is doing that, which might still be weight related at that point. (unless the bracket is just build like that)

Presuming this is mostly a cosmetic thing, opposed to preferable airflow? I've a similar sized card and although I have the option to go vertical with a solid panel (no window) I figured it wouldn't make much sense.. also the vertical bit on case only has 2 slots and the card takes up 3.

This is what I always do when I'm upgrading -

Identify my objective and usage.
Is the parts required or is it overkill?

I use my PC for both work and game.
I work in data intensive industry as an analyst but also requires low latency interaction between applications.

Do I Multitask alot? No , as I am focus driven by implementing FIFO.

Thus my purchase will be limited to an i7.

And then choice of motherboard - do I require certain features for both work and gaming? Yes.

So a big motherboard. A minimum of ATX with certain features required.

Will my workload consist of tons of Data at the same time? Yes , Gigabytes and sometimes Terabytes of loaded chunks is required.

Thus 4 slots of Ram and to find the best latency configurations. ( I am now ddr4 cl18 4000mhz ) - again confirms the need for Intel as AMD is such an arse when XMP is enabled. ( Whatever xmp naming is for amd ).

The rest will fall to place naturally according to motherboard QVL.

Then at the end - is it expensive? Yes. Can I buy a second PC with the same config?

If yes - Buy the PC.
If no - the build isn't meant for you. - lower some other part except for CPU, motherboard and PSU.

A good general rule if you do a lot of just gaming, it's take your entire budget... half that and whatever that number is should be your GPU.

So if your budget is 1200 then your GPU should be around 600, but only works with gaming builds xD.

This unless you ran your punp for few mins it the radiator above the cpu. Bsically air bubbles in loop flow up, so ideally dont want in cpu, but fine leaving in radiator. (hence the reversing so tubes go up bit so air collects at top of them.) but guess you probably done something simular when building.

Not in the same way, like they will have like all push at the front and then right above it have pull (or other way around), so cold air never reaches the hardware etc.. You went with the more logical route of having it in top down. Like imagine your CPU AIO was push and places at the front of the case (not sideways) and your GPU rad pull, with the bottom ones not being there while there was no room between them.

Have seen too many people do that sort of stuff, so all cold air is just instantly being pulled back out, always funny to see.
