#pc-showcase

It was fucking nerve wrecking yesterday when the sale went live 😂
I believe it
DOGGO!!
Guess who's building his pc tomorrow afternoon because all of his remaining parts arrived today
lol good luck with that as well
@torpid talon well yea build cost me less then 1500$ to build lmao plus card plays all games so idc i can always upgrade later
z*
i7 11th gen 3070 and 16gb since changed case to lian li evo in white
beast
since i did rendering with it, it would be impractical to have water coolers since rendering is usually a 24/7 job, so i went with noctua air cooler fans since they are the best.
not the best but from when i get in 2020 it wasn’t that bad
am slowly changing it tho
i've them aswell 😂
Got this bad boy coming tomorrow. All three of my nvme drives are packed tight with games right now. This should solve any storage issues I have for upcoming larger releases for quite a while
crucial nvme drives work well i got 2 of em in my laptop for like a year, 1 for my windows n 1 for my games
So uhhh...guess who forgot to order his graphics card and only just realized it
I almost fucked it badly too cus there wasn't a single 3060 ti available for a good price or in stock
Luckily I found one on scan for £443 and it's coming on Saturday so hopefully I'll actually be able to build my pc on Sunday
#showcase-server-build
Pls for the love of all that is holy please fix the position of that radiator yu will kill your pump
?
your tubes are below your pump thats bad
you will create air pocets in your pumpwell
NVM its just me sorry for the ping
aight 😂
BTW get a case that is better fot for airflow though and anything else that isnt NZXT if you can
was looking at the H7 Flow from NZXT that looks better
I have a spare case I can let go of providing you wish to pay its shipping
looking to upgrade it at some point
anything that isnt NZXT
H7 Flow is fine tho, open front and top
H7 has a solid front
notice the Flow
yes yes i can calla brinck flow as well doesnt mean it flows air in it
Wanta good recomendation fo a case
Corsair 5000D
thats a good one but i have one witha bit more modularity
the bequiet 802 silent base
comes with 3 140 MM fans
I baught this case and its predisesor and there frigen great
I still own its predesessor and thats the case im willing to give you as long as youi pay for its shipping
NXZT makes good cases, what are you talking about xD
But yeah the AIO should be turned around
The 802, you are forced to remove the HDD cage though these days, a lot of GPUs don't fit in it if you don't.
Iirc GN even said that the meshify 2 series might be a better fit or the coolermaster 500 series, mainly because of the high price the 802 has. Even own BeQuiet 500DX is better value regarding them. In a sense the case is for a specific audience from what I could remember, but has been a bit ago.
Yes, kinda. It has all the same components as a pc just no graphics card…. Yet. I’ll be getting one soon.
I wish
My recommendation to everyone is the Corsair 4000D/5000D airflow. Looks nice, and performs.
NZXT cases, while looking real tasty, don't usually accommodate enough airflow, until recently ish
I was looking at getting one of those Corsair cases but opted for the Corsair 7000x
Good choice either way
I was originally going to get the thermaltake level 20 but when i placed the order i didn't actually realize that it was out of stock
Why'd you go with an absolute unit lol
Because I needed a full tower case and it was one of the few that i liked that was in stock xD
Plus I gathered that the bigger the case the more shit you can fit in it ahha
Are you watercooling?
I'll probably be able to post pictures of it on Sunday when I build it with my brother
Yeah
Oh makes sense
Or at least I think we're water cooling, I'm a noob when it comes to building pcs so that's why i'm doing it with my brother
You know what the funny thing is. My Corsair Carbide 500R is a mid tower. But it looks like a full
Watercooling is when you have the tubes and pumps
Half of my shit is corsair so it kinda made sense to also have a corsair case lol
Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler - I'm assuming this is water cooler?
since it has liquid cooler in the name lmao
Ah. No. It's the one step down. You have what we call AIO cooling
Which is like a shortcut version of watercooling
That's a lot of work bro xD.
You may end up putting more into watercooling parts than your entire rig aha
Not to mention watercooling is a lot of maintenance. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, but you def need to know what you're doing
At least the pc will be cooler than me
😂
Troooooo
But yeah if I have to do it, I'll figure it out. I doubt i'll have to do it now tho
I should be fine
....hopefully
lmaoo
This is my first custom build so not only am i giddy i'm like.....this is fine....this will go well....and not blow up
Don't jinx yourself
I mean
We we're gonna build it yesterday but my dumbass forgot to order the gpu lmao
Luckily it arrived this morning aha
My first ever build - I had my brother help me...he was plugging in the tiny front panel connectors.
When I powered it on, it immediately started smoking from the mobo

That was his fault. And it set me back 2 weeks and $200
Ree
That was also like 7-8 years ago

Well anyway. I hope your build goes well. Do tag me when you post a pic. Include something for scale lol
Sure thing 👍🏻
I just realized you said Sunday. That's a long time from now
One whole day I knowww
At least I gave myself permission to unbox and use my new keyboard and mice so
Corsair K70 RGB MK2.0 and Corsair Glaive Pro
I absolutely despise front panel connectors. My case has all the connectors in a block similar to something like a USB 2.0 plug that connects to your motherboard. Makes that part not tedious
Damn you really are for everything corsair(tm) lol
What can I say? I'm a simp for Corsair 😂
It's something we can't avoid. But they do try to make it easier. I know what you mean. My old mobo had an all in one connector for it as well
I get you though. I simp for Corsair too. My K70 Vengeance keyboard still going stronk
That Marshmello is gonna melt.
Waiting on my Govee lights and v1tech wall art and we’ll be almost done 🙂
V1tech? That sounds familiar. Are the people who do LED backplates for GPUs?
Pc specs are;
Case: Lian Li 011
AIO: Deepcool 360EX
Cpu: i9-12900k
Mobo: strix z790
Ram: g skill trident ddr4 3600 64gb
Gpu: evga 3080ti xc3 ultra
Storage; (2) 1tb samsung 980 pro m.2
Psu: 1000w gold evga
(9) Lian li sl120 fans
Yep
64GBs. What a madlad
I did the same tbh. 4 sticks vs 2 looks so much better, even if it's not optimal
I'm sitting on 32, but have been entertaining the idea of 64
Yeah that’s what I was gonna do but I didn’t wanna do sticks of 8
Not with games like tsrkov
Wouldn't know. Never played Tarkov
Very resource demanding game lol
Basically caps a 8gb ram stick when it 1440p
At least for me
my temps on pc
@wheat cave
No it's just a bad photo of the sun.
Yo fly me out there I’ll fix that cable management
Ikr lmao
Define not.
The lights bright as fuck
put a blitz on the camera when you take a pic
No
Is this a Tecware VXR case?
4080
16gb of ram
3 TB of storage
Don’t know what cpu I have
And idk 1200W power supply
my pc isn’t really that impressive except maybe the 4080 that made my wallet bleed
I7-11700kf
Thermaltake cooler
16GB Corsair vengeance 3200
5TB storage - 1TB m.2/2x2TB HDD
MSI gaming X RTX 3050 8GB
Cooler master 1200w PSU
Cooler master storm enforce case
It's happening, me and my brother are building my pc
(although I say me and my brother it's mostly just my brother lmfao)
And he's just said the DDR's won't fit
Now we're missing screws for the motherboard fuck me
Okay we found them jesus christ
Welp guess who needs to order some ddr 4's instead
So we're basically half way done with the pc. We have to wait until tomorrow for the DDR4'S to arrive but it'll most likely be Monday or Tuesday before I can post any finished pictures of it
That and I picked a relatively shit case, but at least it has good airflow (it has like 8 fans total lmao) but the Corsair 7000x has lots of useless shit in it and I wish it didn't have tempered glass but oh well
The pc at the moment
I though there was snow on top 😳
lmaooo
I purchased Gaming PC from IBUYPOWER and the fans are making constant noise.
Also, cooling liquid is getting hot when playing on low FPS games with ping over 300
It's like my CPU is over heating for no reason
the fans are probably plugs on the PCU, if it the case, yes it will always run at 100%. You can try to plug them directly to the motherboard.
iBuyPower was your first mistake
My ghetto set up and pc 😅
you even have feet warmer
@granite whale keep it clean
feet can be clean tho
my ears 🩸 👂
believe it or not that pc actually has a gt 1030 now
we went to go pick it up and didnt dust it off because dust is super healthy for gaming pc
👂 🩸 🙉
Ryzen 9 5900x
Red devil Radeon 6900xt
Ram: 64gb 3600
500gb m.2 boot
2tb m.2 fast game storage
4tb hdd bulk game storage
Also got these 2 dell poweredges, an r610 and r815
64gb 👀
the r815 i think has 128
500gb samsung 970 evo
2tb Silicon Power i think a60
The P34A60 is an affordable storage solution that doesn't skimp on performance. It's designed for novice users, DIY system builders, purpose-built system manufacturers, and simply those who are looking to upgrade their PC. But with a PCIe Gen3x4 interface, which means four lanes are used for tran...
Been there myself man finally got the setup how I want it 🙏
Dude is really playing ark with a painted griffin diving down lmao
Was watching Mr Meola 🤣👌
Oh lmao
You should get an adapter so you can switch to your tv if you wanna play a casual game while laying down like Skyrim and when your gf comes in you can put the controller down and… nvm
Ngl tho your monitor and keyboard is dusty
But the sound system tho
PC is hooked up to the monitor and tv 👌 4K tv but 1080p old asf Samsung monitor 🤣🤣
I'm literally using a 3050 with a display port to DVI cord 🤢🤣
That’s nothing dude I broke both my 144hz monitors from vr
Ouch
I swong and hit my main monitor and shattered the screen and the second one was fine
Dam 😬
Then the second one had my headset on it and the cord got snagged on my gaming chair and I pulled it out and came down and the screen hit the edge of my desk and broke it
All in one night
Now I use a shitty tv and the screen doesn’t fit on it
Atleast there's something to use aye haha
Seen that before go into the tv settings and turn off overscan
There's too versions of the motherboard, one for ddr5's and one for ddr4's and i assumed i got the ddr5 one but apparently I just can't read 😂
F didn't use pcpartpicker to check compatibility?
i did
but they didn't tell me that LOL
big F
t'is fine, the ram should be arriving in the next hour so
Y'all the pc is almost done OMFG
Nvm I spoke too soon
The monitor won't register that it's plugged into the pc
is it an ultrawide?
It's fine, we managed to fix it lol
basically the power cables were the wrong way round lmfao
how tf
Yeah I don't know either LOL
Hopefully we will finish the pc today and I can actually post pictures of it
For some reason the first post didn't go through,so sorry if I posted this twice
It is DONE!
tysm
the past two days have been a chaotic mess but it's finally done and i'm just
I'm just installing the new mw2 atm to use as a benchmark tester
That's the 7000D right?
Well done! looks nice :)
7000x
If you want good airflow this case is pretty poggers for it
but it's a BITCH to set up
I'm not spending $300 on a case lmao
yeah it was a lot
but the tbh the airflow is worth it
everything is sitting at a frosty 30 degrees celsius lmao
That's not even an AF case. The front side is glass. It's just good airflow, because the case is big.
well that and it has six fans xd
I mean, with 6x fans, it should be under 30c
Give or take the current room temp.
Either way.
Nice to know your PC's finally alive
yeah it's very poggies
Did you ever link your specs anywhere. I don't think I know what's inside your mini fusion reactor

tysm
Btw. Change your refresh rate to 144, or 265hz, for the love of god 🤣
144 hz now lol
It's so nice having two monitors AAA
Aye :)
I'm not a fan of UW lol. (Although I basically have one). I don't like that stretched looked to it
You have the same colour scheme as me too
That was just default scheme lol
I just like purple
yesssss
Do itttttt

I need to go sleep
Been hanging out here too much lately
okay nevermind it won't let me so whatever xd

But the purple is fine lmao
Nemo, since you have a PC now, it's only right to give it a name.

I simply named mine 'Zodiac'
I haven't named my pc tbh
It's the cool thing to do
It would be something stupid if I do so eh
TP4UrBungHole
👍 Every PC I have ever owned has been called Waggernaught
lmaooo
I think one was called Waggernaught Jr
Going off based on the purple theme - How about Nebula
That's a lovely name
Purple People Eater
PP no E
Sorry it was a drag race reference lmao

Aight, sleep well!!
Goodnight~
running 3x monitors. But one is pure for gaming, othe is for easy to swift between or keep discord on.
trash 27 1080p, Main 32 asus 144hz cuved. odyssey g3. 27, 1080p 165hz so I can have discord on. xD
what ultrawide is great for gaming
I love the 21:9 aspect for gaming
noice
nice pc my dear, how much did you invest?
It’s going to be around 8-10k USD once the 4090 gets back in stock
1080 ti works perfect still yet.
interesting choice of name
not really, i’m trying to run everything max graphics and 1080ti doesn’t really come through on that anymore
I use 4 for my PC and one for the xbox
Yes i do use all of them
That pc case is low-key cool but also stupid lmao
it looks amazing but its HUGE haha
I love/hate it
It's different that's for sure lmao
I have not seen any other PC with this case in person
Only when looking it up and even then its not that common
Plus the fact that AZZA made 4 different versions of the pyramid xD
I bet it was a pain in the ass to figure the cabling out lmao
Lolll
I think thats a good explanation
My pc case was horrible with the cabling so I can't imagine how bad that would be lol
I spent a bit on custom cables from cable mod just for the PSU alone because the stock cables were way to long for this case
ITS BAD
Love the addition of the two wood planks underneath it lmaooo
bro the PSU sits on the bottom of the PC and vents straight down
Then the intake fans that sit on the bottom, which is the only place to put them, sucks up all that hot air right back into the PC
Add the fact that the PSU is like .5in above my desk, i had to raise it on all 4 corners just to give it more room to breath
jeez
I actually dont run any hard drives so to speak inside this case
I have a m.2 but besides that i can only run externals
With all the rgb and wires i had to make room
This thing has 3 different "hubs" just to make everyuthing work
has 2 corsair rgb hubs plus a usb connector hub so i can plug in more usb connectors
Plus the cpu cooler has 3 rgb fans on it so they all need to be powered, plus the rgb corsair exhaust fan, plus the 4 corsair rgb strips
Plus the lian li strimmers i have installed xD
all of those wires are carefully sorted and managed on the bottom left side of the case where the hard drives would normally sit
But because there are so many wires there was no way the hard drives would fit
wow
This case itself has undergone 3 or 4 different builds inside of it within a month when i built it
Old photo of it
What it looks like mostly stripped
Old build mostly together
First photo of the new/now build. I had just got it all put together and was making sure it would power on
Here's how it looked when I was "done" with it
All lit up
^^
Must've been complete chaos building it lmao
Yes it was because i was learning some stuff along the way of building it and how to build it as well
but now, i can tear this thing down to nothing and rebuild it in probably 6-7 hours
Which sounds like a long time but to me its not. Not a full tear down and rebuild and how complicated it is
dope
Glad you posted this I was actually looking into swapping over to this case lol
I’m pretty savvy with installs but 6-7 hours is too much for me
I can answer basically all the questions you have on it
Thats including teardown, thats not only in rebuild time
Ah gotcha
Thats me taking everything out of it and going to barebones with just the case and the case alone and putting it all back together
It takes me a long time because i have so many wires
Right on I’ll keep that in mind if I end up going with it
The bottom left open spot here is now full of wires
This is my current case, Keiders brand
I will say this
Its a pain in the butt 100% of the way to build. the angles you have to be at and have to sometimes put the pc at just to get everything to fit make you curse the thing until the day you die xD
Add the fact that its 2ft by 2ft by 2ft and weighs 35ish pounds empty
Its a chonky boi
But it looks amazing when its done right
If you care about airflow and temps stick with your case xD
this thing runs warm compared to other cases haha
Your case seems like the air flows pretty well
Oh chonky indeed, and yeah the airflow is the best I’ve had so far partially due to the 2” gaps on either side
This has slits in the glass along the corners to help air to escape but it still runs warm
my gpu idle temps are mid 30'sC
my cpu idle temps in the 60'sC
My CPU (R9 5900x) hits around 64C MAX
R9 5950x here
And it's because the cpu cooler only does so well but I know it's fine because I've done research and looked into it
I wish I could make it run cooler but cant
My emergency-PC incase something goes wrong with my small "big"-rig XD its basically my old PC crammed into a modified razer tomahawk mini case, still dun have a fitting name for it
Specs: 3900x,deshrouded rtx 2080 Gaming X Trio, 32gb 3600mhz, 1tb samsung ssd and 2tb crucial p2
GPU support bracket and Arctic Bionix fans 2x140mm 1x120mm in the mail as well.
Mobo: MSi Z690 Edge
CPU: i5 12600KF OC'd
Ram: G.Skill Ripjaw V 3600 CL16
Storage: MSi Spatium NVMe 1tb
GPU: MSi Ventus 2x 3060 Ti LHR OC'd
AiO: MSi Mag Core Liquid C240
PSU: Asus Strix 850w Gold
Case: Metallic Gear Neo Air
This is really cool
I have same love it love it
For a quick zoom to my build
illumin-ati
Thanks
I get that a lot
oh another Radeon user
my second pc is a Radeon 5700xt
another upcoming friend
Congratz! gonna be nice!
I had at one point a sapphire hd 7970 6gb.. long time ago
I like how AMD got over Intel, now competiting against Nvidia
at that time i still had a PS3 or 2 😂
few years ago 😄
only Ray Tracing is where Nvidia excells at
ye
second pc is gonna be
Ryzen 9 3900x
Red devil Radeon 5700xt
Ram: 32gb 3600
2tb m.2 boot
4tb hdd bulk game storage
CPU and case is my first part to upgrade but would need a new motherboard and cooler as well then ;-;
the second pc is my original build, i have fully upgraded every part of my original pc except my boot drive
But what you second PC is for?
That's a very good idea 👍
But so you need 2 Steam acc??
Travel pc, you can use the same steam account across multiple you just can't use at same time
Also to run as a game server cus it's a lot cheaper to run a second pc than my actual servers
emergency pc must have powa too xD
Not really a competition except in price with new gen. 7900 got way more wattage draw, having mad issues that may or may not be fixed with drivers and all this with lower FPS and no dlss3, reflex or raytracing, which makes it worth the extra 200 gap, so not really a competition. Amd got slaughters in the fact the 7900xtx doesn't even come close to the 4090
Hell I bet the 4070ti beats the 7900xtx
Oh and the 7900 series cant really overclock without issues
Intel got back over AMD and they have to act fast, AMD have the worst value new CPUs on the market right now. Also sure in rasterization they do fine, everything else that THEY made mainstream is really bad like really really bad like really really really bad.
FSR is not that great, still has a lot of film grain issues, their RT performance is at least a generation behind, they can't offer something like frame generation yet, they still haven't found a way to even match something simple as reflex which isn't a huge thing, but still allows Nvidia to justify their higher prices.
They have launched the worst valued GPU since the 20 series namely the 7900XT.
It just trips me that people think a 107b company can dual compete with two companies for a grand total of 512b worth
You can, but you have to be better than this.
While amd is fixing their issues, Nvidia is going to be gapping
The worst thing I fear right now is that if AMD can't touch Nvidia properly going forward. Then we just get price hike after price hike after price hike.
Yup exactly Sall. As someone that is a former head of sales in the tech field, you pretty much dead on what's going to happen
Plus amd did exactly what we bitch at game companies for
They released a unfinished product to rake in money for holiday season
What keeps baffling me is that people ofc love an underdog, but they get blinded so easily. Maybe it's my expierence in the economics field that sees through it but cmon. The 7000 launch was so obvious.
How did people expect that a 7900XTX for 1k was going to touch a 4090 that is basically 2k.
Yeah it was to get capital to fix the damn card
How can they then bash Nvidia for their 4080 naming disaster but then not realise AMD is doing the same and it's even worse...
See, I didn't even care about the naming thing
Thats such a weak thing
They got reports it was confusing people so they are rebranding it
I can understand that ppl got mad about it, because it didn't made sense. However how can you say nVidIA bad but then AMD omg have my babies !
It happens all the time in tech Industry so I guess it wasn't a big deal to me
Especially after twocentzjay's video the other day with mad issues on overclocking the 7900 series
Drawing power from clock speeds to power core clock
Which makes the clock speeds plummet hard
It's a terrible trade off
Yeah that is just weird, idk how they manage to achieve that if not on purpose for stability reasons but even then... 3rd parties didn't as far as I could see.
Yeah because 3rd parties generally fox reference card issues
But the fact it persisted on the proto and then the reference, that speaks on amd
They legit couldn't afford to miss Xmas sales
They are financially fine, but means someone pushed at the top to get the stock higher which idk why because you can't atm.
You realize amd is projected to lose 1.1b in their pc revenue
They projected this themselves
It's fine, they can handle it pretty easy
I don't think so. I think they are more fragile than people give credit for
Their embedded and data center segments are the only thing keeping them floating >.>
It's more than that really
I've read their report
They have nearly over 10B in just pure cash laying around.
Eh I won't be buying any amd stocks with a growth score of C
Every company is going to lose big end of this year or 2nd half of next year.
You should be buying funny enough rather soonish.
The scores don't mean much btw xD
I made 250,000 last year due to stocks
We are in a middle of an economical crisis, there isn't going to be 1 single company that will do well externally.
I think I know what I'm doing when it comes to picking my companies
Lol
Amd won't be one of them
My family owns a nearly 3B worth of investment firm.
I think I know what I am doing when it comes to stocks.
Right now in an odd way is a perfect time to get into stockmarkets, because the moment you can gain the most is in middle of a financial or instable period.
Yeah well I don't see amd going no where near their high
Especially with the product they putting out
Eeeh they will be fine, I mean you think Nvidia is ever going back to 700 ?
I don't have stock in nvidia either
Odd, because that's a very very very safe bet
I'm not dumb enough to buy stock in a cpu or gpu company lol
One very bad launch can drop shit
Same with phone companies and such
Well it's 1 of the easiest way to make money, gaming as a whole is.
Cannabis is my jam
You do realise that when you get those drops, you actually have to buy in right ?
Yeah I know that lol
But amd hitting their high will be some gamestop shit
Idk, I find companies that have regular product launches for consumers, are often too erratic for my tastes
Is also where you will gain the most, if you want something calmer then it's just best for long term and not even a couple of months long term.
Speaking of possibly a couple of years.
Hia
Yup, I mostly do so in real estate
Interesting choice when you have a big bubble ready to explode at any moment.
It will be the same as everyone else in such occasion
Due to covid and DeSantis not shutting down
Everyone is moving here
Houses are constantly being built
Growth is insane
That doesn't decide any of the value
I plan to get out of it in like 2 years though
It can worsen it
Umm
Constantly building is pretty bad for the business, especially when you at the bottom can no longer hold it.
I bought a house for 79000 and in 3 years since covid started, my property is now worth 345k
Yep that's called in middle of a bubble.
Yeah I love middle of real estate bubble since houses are selling like candy atm
Just wait a couple years, most likely not that long and it will half in it's value if not more.
I don't see a sellers market ending in florida for 4 years. Going to sell everything off in 2.5
Will be most likely too late, because that bursting already has happened xD.
Maybe, but I personally don't see it happening that rapidly in florida
But anyways, yeah amd isn't touching nvidia for awhile
Sure it's being half patched here and there, but economies are on downward spirals, when they are then buying power decreases when that decreases then spending decreases when that decreases economy goes further down. With then an already way too big of a bubble too it will cause a ripple effect through different industries including real estate will most likely get a hard time this time. Too many smaller ones trying to profit from a high point, but none of them will survive it which will lead to massive amount of cancellations and loan payment issues which will just collapse the entire thing nearly overnight when it happens.
And with being already at the start of it, I mean 2.5 years is a long time xD.
Hopefully it won't be as bad as 08 with sub quality mortgages
And yeah I'm obviously willing to drop before then, I just really don't see florida realty collapsing so soon
Especially since I just flip and don't hold the houses long
I just want to get out of realty period in 2.5 years. It's a fkn pain
I prefer bonds ultimately
Well, economical crisis wise it will be way worse than 2008, main reasons for it is that 2008 was self inflicted that could have been prevented. This one though should have been prevented a couple years ago and it has set us to the path which we have been way past the point of no return.
A very very easy sign to economical crisis is when investors start to pull out en mass and start to invest en masse in the USD.
I got quite a bit of stock in Zoominfo and QuidelOrtho Corporation
Considering Broadcom as well
I think these 3 companies are very well suited to weather the recession
And been impressed with MRFOX mutual fund this year
Personally I think Ortho is an awkward choice because their entire rise of the why has kinda fizzled away. Personally I would put that as a hold, which will be the best one even though I know a bunch of ppl that has it as buy which I find a bit strange personally. Zoominfo as long you can get it below 40 it's probs a buy. I would say away from Broadcom entirely personally because of their issues xD.
Broadcom spiked since their aquisition announcement, however most likely will fail which means a large downwards spike incoming.
They are my recession proof choices to be honest. Broadcom is actually due to their semiconductor division. I have a strong feeling it can ride out a recession. Also I'm not the only one. Bernstein thinks so too lol
It can maybe ride out a recession but it defo can't the EU.
They also haven't really had a chip shortage like others either
Which has been growing their market share nicely
They are under a very large scale investigation, the 2nd time EU has done this on this scale.
And a thing you learn from living within the EU and dealing with it from a business standpoint: When they file something you are screwed xD.
I feel enterprise level software is recession proof for the most part
So like zoom info, Salesforce and etc
That's where most of my stocks are anyways since I used to be in the POS, enterprise level e-commerce and credit card processing field
Well any stock that has a service or product that will stay in the same demand will be good.
Companies have to have point of sales
They have to have cc processing
And most have to have websites to market
So a company like Fortis
Like a little company from my area that you might have heard of... Johnson pharmaceutica is usually a very very very safe stock in recessions to just hang around a bit.
They will continue to earn in a recession
I don't buy stocks in pharma
I support cannabis
They try to make it illegal
Plus keep cures to keep selling treatments
THen something like pepsi or cola or microsoft even, something large and never will run out of demand.
I do t put any money in pharmas
Unilever is also a great one
Yeah Microsoft and Apple I was considering
There is also this robotic company based in japan
Unilever is 1 that a lot of (not personal) amateur investors underestimate.
If you don't know what it is...
I got stocks in Ingersoll as well
Think of a brand like any food brand, you have a 80 % chance Unilever owns it.
It's a robotics company that's been seeing nice advancements and growth
Just be careful with robotics, they can sometimes be weirdly volatile xD
Oh I know lol
I've lost before
But I was very selective with robotics this time
My cannabis stock is trulieve
And that stock has been doing amazing
Well I think no one has ever invested in any stock without losing at some point, it's the time where you learn.
You actually want to know the one thing that made me a lot of money
It was absolutely stupid it did
And I'm so glad I sold immediately when it did
And I really have to thank Elon for smoking weed on Joe rogans podcast and all his other antics
Dogecoin
Musk used to be great in making money, because he is a master stock manipulator... until he met Twitter then he made a mistake.
Shit went from .000043 when I bought to like 45 cents when I sold
You know what. Honestly
Like none of his companies actually make money, none of them also actually have a succesfull project perse. All his money and sales is by licenses and just market manipulation.
I think his whole mission is to run Twitter in the ground and just for it to be a joke to the point no one uses it
He spent that money to spite dorsey
Nah he was forced to buy Twitter, he basically just wanted to manipulate the stock but Twitter investors said nope you will buy it because have to by law.
Which fun fact, Elon started off in credit card processing
He was never meant to buy it.
Working for the OG company that became square
Who happens to have the same ceo as twitter
They kicked him out of the cc company
He had a bone to pick with Dorsey that led to the whole Twitter episode
The thing now with Musk is basically you should stay away as far as you can now from his shit.
I have zero stocks of his. I bought the dogecoin as a joke never expecting profit
When you have every major investor writing you a letter to shut up and step down then you got exposed for the manipulation xD.
some interesting pc builds..
You can buy pc's with it
Yup, we invest so we can buy high end pcs
We are teaching you how to make free money to post dope pc builds here
My entire pc was built on dividends haha
Plus when I posted my pc, no one cares because of some pyramid build haha
also the third party 7900 cards have the same issue they just arent reporting the drop in memory frequency. but the mem controller will drop load if the core frequency gets pushed up
It's not showing on some cards in adrenalin
They might not be reporting, but they can't just change the stats in adrenalin
Some brands have the issue, some dont
same Flow, i post my build and no one cared. did you watch the follow up video? Jay used a 3rd party and he was able to see
Yes but he uses a brand card at the end of first video too
That didn't do it
Just depends how much money the brand put into fixing the card pr if they cared to since the reference cards had it
it still had similar performance drops it just didnt show that it was dropping the frequency, but using a 3rd party software it drops the load on the controller from 30% to 20% while keeping the frequency
That's why I think it's a hardware issue that won't be fixed with a driver
Even though every amd fan boy says it will be
But it comes down to the fact that now amd has to use resources to fix the card while nvidia is pushing ada to its limit and releasing the 4090 ti next year
That I'm sure will blow away the 7950 cards
i feel like it its a mix, i think its a big scheduling problem that they have had on a few of their products now but there is more than likely hardware issues with the new design
Afterburner?
I haven't watched the 2nd video yet
Gpu-z
the 3rd partys are having a similar issue just reporting different which is what is making me believe its software with some handwear
That's means it's by amd design lol
For the fact you say you are a fanboy makes you by default not a fanboy
its getting pretty annoying that both are releasing with bad drivers, but at least NVidia will quickly put out new drivers where amd sits on their hands for months
Nvidia drivers are fine though.
yea but on release of new cards they have issues for the first like 24hrs, they are so much better fixing driver problems
amd will go like 6+ months for their "stable" release and put out like 3 "experiential" drivers in that time
What issue did the 4090 have as a driver?
its just not fully optimized, reviewers said they had some issues with early builds but the update is pushed within the first 24hours of release so its not a consumer problem. this is less to state Nvidia bad and use it as a point of comparison to prove amd slacking
Maybe because they release drivers on launch day xD
There was an issue with the driver though, but not for the 40 series.
If you owned a 30 or 20 series and updated to 525, windows would use all the resources of your GPU for an unknown reason.
They even rolled out dlss3 support for the 30 series hella fast, just don't get the frame gen part the 40 series does
I tested Frame gen and it's pretty amazing tbh, the latency isn't bad at all with the games that supported it.
But AMD unboxed told me that it was really really bad
yea, again i wasnt using it to say they were bad, i just was trying to point out that they, unlike amd, push out drivers so much quicker especially when issues are found. like i said with amd i had over half a year on the same driver cus they dont push updates to their "stable" build
Well I used to moderate for a couple of games, A lot of times like A very lot of times every time AMD pushed a driver update we would have a massive spike of report tickets.
Plus someone saying amd is better atm is just making themselves look stupid lol
I think they are better in a way, they just fall flat where it actually matters :/.
I only care about where it matters lol
As you defo should, but it's just a shame because that will leave them falling behind which is going to be so bad for us.
That's like being married but the sex being total crap and unsatisfactory
also i fuckin hate that by defualt their cards dont go able 60% fan speed on some cards, on my old 5700xt it wouldn't go above 45% fan @ 100 degrees, used to crash all the time
Like I don't have financial trouble to drop like 1.5k on a GPU, but that isn't a normal thing and shouldn't have to be. They showed with the 30 series it doesn't have to be at all tbh.
I sell ball pythons lol I sell one baby snake and I got my 4080 lol
Hell yeah. I've never gone all out on my gpu so this time I am
Suprim
I just bought the z690 edge and I run a msi cooler
If you want to go all out then just go ROG strix, that extra 300 USD will matter for the extra 2 fps
Got to add suprim for the final look
Yeah but I'm staying consistent with my theme
Though I did just get rid of my msi 650w for a Asus strix 850w
I usually like the corsair PSUs myself, are just easy to use and their custom sleeved cables are pretty nice for a major company.
I won't buy corsair jack and I use cable extensions so I don't even see the og sleeves lol
When it comes to psu, I only buy SeaSonic, Asus Strix (because it's built using SeaSonics GX platform), EVGA Supernova T2s and msi a***gf series for msi challenge build
I'm waiting on some new cable mods though to go with the new psu
I don't remember Nvidia saying they would push out DLSS3 for the RTX30 cards
As far as I know, it's only exclusive to RTX4 cards
Originally yes, then they back tracked
Ima need some sources and cites
They partially added it in the 225 update, which caused the GPUs to break at first.l
When ppl tried it for real, because it's nothing more than enable it in a file for 20 and 30 series. It ran extremely unstable, so I doubt we will ever get full support.
The start of my pc getting custom painted
Why did you put that on the carpet?
Nope and it's easy to Google it. They released support for in a driver when plague requiem released. I can pull the nvidia article itself
It sounds like a real Nvidia move though...
pro tip put your pc case on something that keeps it lifted off the ground especially if your floors are carpets because if you put it on the carpet and turn it on your intake fans will sucking all the dust and particles that sticks to your carpet and the inside of your pc will get covered in dust and stuff witch will cause your pc to get hotter and cause performance drops as well as other more serious issues
He said he was about to customize the case
I think he had it on the floor just for the picture
And was probably about to start putting painters tape on it
lets hope that's the case
is that an elite or just a regular @lunar arch ?
Which
the xbox one controller
It's the 20th anniversary special edition. I use my elite sometimes
ah oki oki, i love the elite version 2 and the ability to change the light color
It's usually in the other room though with the series x
Yeah it's pretty amazing
Had to get the msi controllers since I suck at charging shit and sometimes 2 people play on the xbox
They aren't bad for 30
nice nice i was thinking about getting the razer wolverine just to comp to the elite
I ended up not liking the feel of them and the v2 chromas are a pretty penny
At that point. I'd just buy another elite lol
Br able to use it on the pc and xbox
fair enough, whats them specs on that pc?
Mobo: MSi Z690 Edge
CPU: i5 12600KF OC'd
Ram: G.Skill Ripjaw V 3600 CL16
Storage: MSi Spatium NVMe 1tb
GPU: MSi Ventus 2x 3060 Ti LHR OC'd
AiO: MSi Mag Core Liquid C240
PSU: Asus Strix 850w Gold
Case: Metallic Gear Neo Air
Upgrading to the Lancool 3 and Arctic Freezer II 360 around March
love that ram got the same kit 64gb, 16x4
But temps run about 70 on the cpu with the c240 aio after a 15 hour burn in test
Yeah I'm looking to eventually get some TeamGroup Xtreems 3600 cl14
But not sure since I'm looking to upgrade my cpu when 14th gen comes out and then probably get a ddr5 mobo
That pic with the table is old though, here is the updated with the edge
Gpu is sagging a bit, I rotated the aio and didn't expect that much pressure on it so got a support bracket coming
i swapped from a cooler master masterliquid lite 240 to a deepcool ak620 tower.
The tubes before would have blocked the msi dragon logo on the edge
Yeah see, I play to get a 14th gen i9 kf. No air cooler is going to handle that
I'm even considering going from the freezer 360 to the 420
um actually have you seen the air cooler they made just for cooling i9s
Then all that will be left is slapping a 4090 in it and done
Yeah but it isn't touching the i9 13900kf OC'd
Much less a 14th
Unless they find a way to bring down the heat of that cpu
i cant find the video but i remember it was either 12th or 13th gen i9 on air with similar performance to a 360 rad

Intel's Core i9-12900K is a beast that needs taming, and the IceGiant team thinks they might have a solution. Can ANY of our coolers keep up?
Discuss on the forum: https://linustechtips.com/topic/1443845-don...
this thing
honestly its a bit cheaper too
eh I like the look of aios too lol
I dont like some chucky ass thing in the center of my build
fair, in my build the air tower looks better
raijintek?
?
the case looks like one of their cases
nah its Kediers
i suck at cabling too as well
imma be getting this one whenever i decide to put my other pc into a case
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B65JCS4C/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A3J87EZYZJW4GN&psc=1
im just lucky mine has a back panel
and my rule is, as long as the panel shuts, fk it
Thats the Raijintek Eris Evo for me
Detailed product parameters Product Name: Apocalypse Packing size: 715×525×265mm Packing material: K=K Volume: 0.0995 cubic meters Number of containers: about 673 (40HQ) Glass quantity: left ×1, right ×1, upper cover ×2 Product size: 650×455×260mm Hard disk card position: 3.5"HDD×4 Cooling system...
yes.. but tank
Raijintek provides the products - high compatibility, extreme engineering, remarkable performance, amazing design, necessity of demand and multifunctional usage – for high recommendation everywhere to make up your life.
reminds me of the old Corsair 1000D
5 fans front and back. 420 aio up top and 6 fans on the back panel
yeah but I wont buy shit from corsair lol
why not?
because there is better products at same cost
or just as good products at lower cost
and I really hate best buy builds
fair fair, i love my k70 and Corsair Scimitar mouse but i got them thru amazon referb
peris is alright from them. I mainly mean pc building components
if one more dweeb puts the corsair aio in a build, ill probably jump off a cliff
that aio is so bad
ah yes yes, the love the keyboards and mice
i didnt see in the photo but do you got a headset or stand alone mic and headphones
ah okay
couldnt even guess
Lol however, my bias only goes so far. I realize all companies put out good and bad products
i got dt770 pros and at2020 going though a Scarlett solo
That's why I got the c240 instead of the 240r aio that had a recall lol
Yeah my headsets aren't the greatest but once my pc is finally upgraded where I'm done for like 5 years, I'm getting myself some vocals
lol fair fair. my aio was just dying so i went with the ak620
People kinda sleep on msi's aio though
It held my cpu to 70 degrees max with overclock on 15 hour stress test
An i5 12600kf
@wheat cave the bottom of the pc has legs and I ain't got a desk for it yet
deepcool is just the cheaper version of a noctua and i havent really done a fair stress test but my 5900x hasnt gotten into the 70s
yea theyre so solid
Hey, wanna head to dms? I wouldn't mind talking more
sure
I'm waiting for them to fuss lol
Added another 32 gigs of ram to the system. Sad that I had to drop my xmp speed by 400mhz, but now all my ram slots are populated, and I don't really think 400mhz is going to make that big of a difference
It does In overclocking as 2 sticks make it easier to get higher speeds and lower latency stable, especially for high end amd
Wait you play on the floor?
No my pc is on the floor and it's hooked up to my TV that's on a small table
rip feel sorry for your pc good luck cleaning out all the dust inside your pc
It's difficult getting things when you have a 9 month old baby
i see well you dont have to buy anything you just need something that is clean you can put the pc on top of so its is lifted off the ground a bit about 4 or 5inches so your your front intake fans dont suck in all the dust from the floor
aslong as its not directly on the floor it will be fine
The legs on it are working enough
I literally just have a board under mine, similar legs as that one but yeah just so its not directly on carpet as i cant fit a desk/etc
So far the furthest I've had to go is clean the mesh
since you have a baby i would recommend baby proofing your pc cables and electrical ports just to be safe if the baby can get to the cables or electrical ports it can cause harm to your baby just saying because people always forget to baby proof there pc cables and ports
I'm gonna be hiding it next to my TV then it's covered from all sides
My previous case didnt have feet so the board was the only thing keeping it from being in the carpet...when i switched i kept the board for stability and such. Currently mine sits under my tv mounted on the wall at the foot of my bed maybe a 2ft clearence between pc and bed. But i have a full tower so its kinda massive
cool congrats on the new baby btw and have a merry Christmas and happy gaming
mice
we getting Rtx Titan card, bigger then 4090 card.
nice
this one wich destroys itself?
Dont judge me im brazilian poor😢
No judgement here. I like the lights, but I'm biased towards those colours
thx
no idea, I heard it from Youtube: Gamer Meld ,talking about it.
there was rumors about nvidia had to stop testing cuz the cards destroyed power supplys and itself but that was awhile ago already
well lets see yours then

@torpid talon home?
Bruh I'm at work still. 2 more hours
If you can't see it, it doesn't exist, so everything behind the cable management shame bar isn't there
I actually don't need to clean up my desk. I bought this desk specifically to keep cables as minimal as possible
"Asus Breaks World Record by Overclocking Core i9-13900K to 9GHz"
Just minus 250,2 to cool down
250 is casual shit
ezpz
I keep my 13900 capped at 5.4. The fact they were able to get it to 9 fricking ghz is ludicrous
You have to remember that they disable everything except 1 core to get those runs.
Ay AMD friend, welcome
could use some cleaning tho
3 specks of dust: could use some cleaning
if you have filters and you clear 3 times a year your pc, your pc will be in good shape
i might invest in a air blower for pc next year
i dont have money for air blower
PC of my friend, its super cool
so cool
nice pc
Broly BR?
people from the server I'm hoping to be summoned to the barracks, I'm Brazilian and the salary of the military here is very good and when I go to build my pc I would love for someone to give me some tips for me to build a pc with power and performance already that I don't know the correct parts, but of course it will take time and a lot of effort on my part to be able to accumulate enough capital to build a good pc
yes lol i'm brazilian and fan of dragon ball
but my name is gabriel and i'm 18 years old
don't buy prebuilts, gaming laptops are not ideal, use pcpartpicker.com, good air cooling is good enough, get a PSU with a good rating and above the needed wattage, always use the PSU cables that came with the PSU you'll be using, if you're getting an M.2 make sure the stick key and the slot types match, get matching RAM sticks, enable XMP in BIOS for better RAM performance, don't let your PC get dusty or dirty, don't put a glass case (or any at all if you can) PC on the floor
my main-system named "fusion hell", i got a fireeffect on the lights thats why it looks abit uneven. with 3d-printed parts, used for games, 3d and rendering
12700k, 3090, 64gb ram and 6,5tb ssd-storage
me too
ok, I got it
nice pc guy
thanks for the tips guys, maybe if i save as much as i can until 2024 i can have enough money to build a super pc gamer
I'm a very patient guy with material things so I don't see a problem with taking a while before I can set up my pc
well i buy a new pc when iam not really satisfied with the 3d stuff, but now with 24gb vram i wont need a new pc for a few years plus the renderspeed with the 3090 is insane compared to the 2080 wich i had in this system before
optix wich uses the rt-cores renders like 10 times faster
if i only need a pc for gaming i would still use the 2080 wich i do on my sec pc and probably a 5600x or 5800x and 32gb of ram
and the dumb youtubers that want like 300fps and more where i think why the hell i need 300+ fps for gaming, wasting more energy, shorter lifespan of the components and heat wich sucks in summer. i dont know much ppls that play competitive pvp stuff wich is pretty obsolete nowdays with ai-aim
ala o br
looks really cool still
thanks^^ its also my first try watercooling, hopefully maintinance and swapping parts is as easy as i think it is
Me too
Nice setups. Let me flex a little as well...
5950,3090,32gb, 2tb m2, dual loop custom hard tubes
I have been flexed on
What game do you play for those controllers? I have a guess in mind but want to see if I'm right.
Mostly Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen, but I want to try MS Flight Sim. Don't have the most free time, but... i ll do it soon hopefully
Ahhh, I was wrong then. Though it was MS Flight Sim
Hopefully you will get a nice weekend to yourself or something to try it out
wishful thinking... 😂
Damn sick set-up
Finally upgraded my GPU, here are my full system specs:

Here’s the pre-4090 build
still...nice !

dang that looks sick
nice
Tell you have 15k on a setup with tell me you have 15k to spend.
I have the case and the hardware, minus the GPU.

Crazy.
Personally should have invested in better headphones
, especially when you already have a standalone anyway.
One of the best headsets in the market, got them for $199, that and they came in white. That, and personally, I think they are the best. Love them. Thanks for your input.
Your opinion is all fine by me because sound is subjective, but then shouldn't say "one of the best in the market" They are like at the high end of the gaming category but nowhere close to headphone quality 😛
Cool
Own (don't use it anymore myself) a pair of them myself and they are really artificial and also just too heavy distorting sound especially at the mid and high levels of the sound. Unless you are 1 of the lucky ones that for some reason received better ones which is known in the serries. Is most likely why rtings refuse to give them above a high 7.
Wich headset are you using then if you dislike this one if i had an optical port on my pc i would still use my turtle beach elite 800 but i dont so it keeps connected to the ps4 and now im using the razer blackshark v2 pro but my kids break it so its in the shop for repairs so i decided to give the steelseries arctis 7+ a try its not bad but its to much depending on sonar to give you good sound and i find it hard to get the good sound or at least a good midway for all games so now im playing games with spatial on for all single player games to get the emmersive sound and for shooters im using settings i copied from some other guys
Part List - Intel Core i9-12900K, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, NZXT H5 Flow ATX Mid Tower
This is my build
Using some sennheiser 600 series, is pretty neutral in sound, are open back and has extreme detail. So even the soft sound details will be picked up by then all around you in gaming. It's levels are really accurate too and has no artificial sound or like most gaming brands boosted bass. So sound stage stays wide and accurate.
But best advise I can give you is stay away from gaming brands, they have no clue how sound works. Take the headset mentioned by the other guy. That was 350 on launch, it gets demolished entirely in sound and mic quality by the game one which was 100 to 150 ish.
what gpu is this?
Mine is a Ryzen 7 5700g, ram 64 gb of Corsair vengeance, gpu rtx 3070 ti
This is how I started when I first built my pc
wow ♥
Let me look for the pic
in egy to buy pc like this you need to work 2 years :'()
If I was you, I would delete the screenshot, has info that is pretty major security risk.
thx ♥

I'm beginning to think some of these people have more money than they should.
Meh, worked 1200 hours of overtime/double time this year. Needed to splurge.
Working for the utilities fixing high voltage electricity. Rarely an instance where we just work straight time. Always something to fix, build or respond to lol.
12 hour days feel like 8 hour days and average days are 16-18 hours 6 days a week.
Yup, nows that time 😂. MW2 for the next 4 days.
all due respect, but i m working 10/13 hours daily for the past 20 years. i deserve smtg more...
HD 6850 or something

This my place of zen and peace
In my defense I've been working in I.T. for 20 years, with many many hours of work. A little indulgence should be allowed for the toil 😁
Thx

What's that GPU ? Also you installed your AIO wrong if I can see it properly xD.
It’s a 3070 and I wasn’t to sure how to install it I can give you a closer look in a second
Pump has to be above the CPU, else you hurt performance and life span of the aio.
Just ordered these xD
The G9
My bank breaker

This is my current setup.
I think my setup is the simplest ever XD
I had an opportunity to grab this beast at Microcenter for upgrade
Nice monitor
that....40...90 ❤️ oh she sexy
give me that
Decided to return the AMD 7900XTX and go back to ol' reliable Nvidia. Shorter cable mod cables are on the to-do list 👀
4090 is pretty good, just expensive 😂
As long you do more with it than just gaming, it's pretty fine imo.
Definitely not, only used for gaming but at least i can run RT at max now
I can too xD
Clean!
https://youtu.be/pQDnwpc_k4E Good you changed btw, also for everyone who has an AMD GPU of last gen especially the 6800XT and 6900XT....
