But honestly the desktop experience has been worked on so much that it has become really good, beautiful too. Linux has full desktops, app stores, and GUIs. The command line’s optional. Most Linux distros like mint and Ubuntu are pretty much just as GUI accessible as windows, with very limited need to use a command shell if you don’t want to.
I’d recommend getting some level of command knowledge though if you’re curious. Things like grep, find, less, and many others make day-to-day life simply easier than how windows does it.
