I've been at this for last 45 minutes. I finally break and look on forums. Looks like you need a buddy to beat this boss. I have none, hence why I am here.

If you want, you can use the cheesy strats to beat him
Get him stuck on some cover
Most of the time people say the longshot, torque, and grenade combo works but tbh I just use grenades and a shotgun, cheese into cover and spam his face with the shotty

Here lies the problem, I have none of those except for grenades and a longshot. Which are point less. I'm slow. So by time I launch the grenade. Get rid of the krill, switch to a long shot, aim. And shoot, the krill is already back. My partner is dead and RAAM way towards me

If Dom is being annoying I honestly use the tac commands and tell him to stay put back at the start and it usually works!

I did a pistol only run the other day, killed him on causal using only a Boltok.
Certainly don’t need a coop partner.
But if you are really struggling grab the torque bow and just use that. Should be more than enough to kill him

Unfortunately, not these tacs worked for me. If I get the Torque. It only has 6 ammo, do I have to wait for the Kril to leave his body? If I do that, sometimes he never orders the krill to leave, or if he does, he's half way near me and my buddy is already. I tried the tac in the video. I chew through of 780 ammo from the chainsaw weapon. Now on the 5th try
O goawd, finally beat him. Threw bunch of grenades, torgue, and a longshot lol. I'm never going to visit this game again because of that boss lol

With the explosives you could force his Kryll away and then nail em with whatever weapons ya got
The cheese Strat didn't work eh? Works everytime at least for me
