you have to join beta to be able to play on PC, nothing changes in terms of the servers or new things just the fact that you are able to play on PC
everything stays the same, just the option for you to play on PC gets available for you

pretty much yes, you are playing on live version but with an option to play on PC
you can play with your friend that is for example not in beta and plays on phone while you are in beta and you play on your PC

as I said, if you join beta version to get access to PC version, nothing changes, you are playing on live servers everything is the same atm only thing that adds up is the option to also play on PC
and to answer your question -> no, if you leave beta on your phone and the account you are logged to on your PC are the same, the option to play on PC will remove
