I have a red magic yet no option for 120 fps

I recently got a red magic 9 pro which is a gaming phone with a 120hz screen and I can play 120 fps on all games except when I open critical ops it only gives me the option to use 30 fps or 60 why is that?

Make sure any battery saving features, such as power saving mode are disabled, if it's enabled you can turn them off in your settings.

If that's disabled and you still can't see the 120fps option, it's most likely the manufacturer locking the OS to support only up to 60fps in your device

@fiery cave make sure your display settings is set to 120 hz

@fiery cave toggle display settings open, c ops with 60 fps display cap and then change display to 120 (from device settings) and then resume c ops

If this doesn't works
-> try clearing app data of battery and performance manager

So up to you if you want to try this but if you're good with phones and developer type stuff I recommend you download 4A Settings Database Editor from there you can input specific commands such as peak_refresh_rate it'll ask you a number and put 1. Try every other option before you try this. This will permanently force your phone to push for 120 and can lead to heating issues and performance issues. It is all my other games run fine on 120 fps

C-ops is the only one that doesn't give me the option

I'd consider this but the phone already has options to force 120 and it has a Diablo mode that forces even more power out of it if necessary with the downside of my battery consumption and heating

It's just a game problem limiting the fps to 60 and I want to know why
