It was working fine last night. Tried to play today and got hit with this.
Verified integrity of game files and uninstalled/reinstalled game.
Using steam

Got the epic one, then that didn't work so bought the steam one, deleted the epic one and the steam version doesn't work either

I had the same problem about 30mins ago. just click main menu and wait

And you get the same game with epic or steam.
