@upbeat dew You asked me before how I believe you could improve communication. I can explain what I expect to be done here, and what I believe you should do.

The typical Torn Banner response to this post will be complete radio silence until the thread increases in popularity and becomes a cesspit where all the users start feeding into each other's negativity. It becomes an echo chamber of insults and bullying towards Torn Banner employees because the users feel like neglected children from parents who don't care.

What you should do is vocalize or announce when you have logged this information, and explicitly state that it is something you are actively pursuing as a developmental possibility. Next, you should explain in detail which aspects of the post are realistically something you can accomplish, and which parts are out of scope. For the points that aren't achievable, also thoroughly explain the developmental complications as to why they are not possible. Possibly discuss with the players why this is the case, and perhaps allow them to convince you to reallocate resources or give a final statement on why the feature will be excluded.

Communicate, explain, and address all aspects of the post. Leave no aspect untouched. Cover it all, in every area to the best of your ability and then push even further for more info after that.

Lastly, I have an issue with how you and Connect have taken criticism in the past few weeks. You both are 'open to criticism' and willing to listen, but you're not willing to outright admit that the current and past attempts at communication are unsatisfactory. Almost as if it isn't the studio's fault for the lack of social awareness. IT IS

You guys are bad at communication, and that is ok. I and the rest of the community will be here to guide you every step of the way, asking in a clear and concise manner as to what we want

a log out of chat messages (for integrations)
a log out of kills and point scoring actions (for integrations)
api/webhook capabilities with in-game chat commands (to send to a discord bot for example, /duel or whatever)
server info including discord and/or website links, short desc/rules box for information about the server
quick set gamemode preconfigs "activate TDM, activate LTS, activate FFA, activate duels"

Hopefully they put up central servers, all the tourneys are ran there. Without central there's gonna be a huge divide between west/east coast competitive players
